What amazes me is that Palin continues to fall for such obvious ambushes. For success in national politics, she needs to learn (as other politicians have) how to avoid questions which have nothing to do with current issues (and learn the latter well before asked). In this case, she could have just said "I'm hear to look, learn, and enjoy, not lecture others. History is what it is." That's a safe answer, allowing her to move away to avoid further such questions from that person afterwards.

How exacyly is that an ambush? She later claimed it was a "gotcha" question, but just beacuse teh question "got her" doesnt mean it was one.
