I just happened to think of this song! I sang this with my choir in highscool 4 years ago. Although I don't think we were quite as good, but we were pretty decent. And we had like half the number of people in our particular group.

Anyway, I love this song, and I'm glad I got to hear it again.

Very nice intonation. Perfect blending, too! The only issues were (and I'm a bit of a choir snob) occasional spread vowel sounds, especially the "ee", and you all look very bored. Singers are entertainers as much as they are performers. Props to the sopranos on "tongues" (I always have trouble with that!) and the soloist. Overall, you deserved your award!

Yes, you did! This is absolutely gorgeous! My choir is performing this song at our next concert, and our directer showed this to us before we started it. I've tried to find another video on here that sounds as good, and I gave up. You ladies sang so beautifully, and so honestly, you should be soooo proud. I'll be happy if we sound half this good! Very well done!
