  • @nicegmctruck Could have got a 6.7 PowerStroke

  • @wafrederick 6.7 power stroke is the only decent engine from ford. And power stroke are decent compared to duramax, maybe he got a lemon engine?

  • I just talked to a tow truck driver a couple days ago, drives a a Ford F450 superduty towtruck.Nothiong but problems with constantly,15 set sets of fuel injectors and one turbo replaced. You won't see places hauling trailers using Fords, don't want them and find them unreliable.Tons of Dodge duallies with the cummins used

  • lol was this done with the dpf off?

  • Wow troll haha why would u even click on this video if u weren't going to bash on powerstrokes and by all means prove to my why chevy is better id love to hear how that government run price of shit is gonna out gun an f450

  • to all the ford guys get a diesel that produces 310hp and 520 ft lbs of torque while getting 35 mpgs on a 4x4 1/4ton then talk to me also it has the allison

  • I love my Ford. Like if you have a Ford and love it!

  • Why does everyone say Cummins is better then a Powerstroke? Most of truck pull videos of a Cummins vs. Powerstroke would be the Powerstroke winning in my opinion the Cummins is only for the rich black smoke while Powerstrokes are made for pulling and embarrassing Dodge, Chevrolet, GMC, and Toyota trucks

  • @Southern90Rebel lol its not hard to embarress a yota

  • i like my 6.6 '11 gmc denali hd just sayin mine's better it could do the same thing with a 20,000 lb trailer just sayin :/ but if i didnt have that id love to drive one of these

  • 6.4 powerstroke sucks, cant wait to get my duramax

  • 9 service days? wow even highway miles a ford dosnt handle

  • @Shaggy2dope90 Would you shut the fuck up? The 9 service days are nothing compared to the 131 that they drove with a 12,000 pound trailer. God damn there will always be fucking losers such as yourself that will troll videos and not realize the point of it. 150,000 miles. You are so fucking stupid. A dodge or chevy couldn't do that in 4 years. GTFO prick.

  • @FordToughDiesel My my you are a touchy one. Any of the big three could do this. This was all highway miles, come on lol. Nobody makes a bad truck now days. Ford finally has an engine that wont break on you. It's just preference. But it is common diesel knowledge if you want to pull Cummins is the way to go.

  • @iPROFITDON You're obviously a dodge fan. Too bad the trannys are shit, they lose their value faster than a bat out of hell, and the only good thing about a ram is the part that they don't make. The engine. Just leave.

  • @FordToughDiesel I'm not here to argue with your deep rooted affinity for Ford trucks. I am a dodge fan and will stay that way, you're a Ford guy and I'm happy for you. Like I said, nobody makes a bad truck, what you like comes down to preference and which is best for you, not which is best. I know Ford and diesels is a touchy subject for a ford guy. I've never had a problem with a dodge trans, but have first hand seen Ford frames break and their engines blow.

  • @iPROFITDON Then why the fuck did you reply to my comment you ignorant prick? I see dodges all the time. Weighing in at the scrapyard.

  • @FordToughDiesel Simply because people like you amuse me. So quick to jump to Fords defense for such a minor statement. You're a Ford fanboy, not a Ford fan. I know it hurts to hear that as well. What part of "nobody makes a bad truck, what you like comes down to preference and which is best for you, not which is best." sparked this anger?

  • 150,000 Miles in 131 days is Alot, but at the same time, it IS all highway miles, and that means that the truck wasnt towing the trailer up steep, windy gravel roads that are full of pot holes, and Its not being used as a daily driver. You cant test a trucks reliability by just using it on the highway, because your foot is BARELY on the pedal 99.9% of the time. Try using it as a daily driver for a full year or 2, and then youll get a sense of how terrible the reliability on this truck really is.

  • like if u agree, as long as its AMERICAN made (dodge chevy and ford), its good no matter what

  • @5DEADMAN1 No, had to many fords break on me.

  • sounds like a mustang in the back ground

  • So they did 1145 miles per day? At a constant rate of 65 MPH, thats over 17.5 hours of driving, every single day for 131 days.

    This video is completely false.

  • @a5woodsball it dosent have to be the same driver. one guy drives 4 hours out and 4 hours back, switch drivers and repeat. 16 hours of driving a day.. not that hard to accomplish

  • @a5woodsball And that would be without stopping for gas or stop signs or anything

  • maybe if they did the test whit a 2011 dmax ,they did look so stupid in the real test.big tack same bull shit..ford

  • Yeah sure, I can see any car doing 150k off the showroom floor. The car hasn't had a chance to see the weather or dryrot anywhere

  • To all the Dodge and Chevrolet fanboys out there...

Remember that thisTruck Built this Country...

    FORD TOUGH.

  • @AuburnTigers77 more like ford faggots, the chevy silverado is better dumbass.

  • @wcchalo You like a football team that doesn't know what their mascot is, and think your comment is worthy in this? Haha.

  • And still the 6.4L was a pile of shit.

  • I have a 2010 f-450 and I see that they don't talk about the mpg because it sucks lol

  • Well it would have been nice to show the odometer and start up the truck to verify whether it had 150,000 miles on it. As long as the new Fords with the new diesel motor is better than the 6.0 it's worth a go.

  • should be bone with f-150 and a 5000 pound trailer ... see if the tranny last 75000 miles

  • @couz650 i have 232,000 miles on my f-150 and it has been put through hell. i have towed a 7000 pound trailer for more then 75,000 miles, tranny is fine. i live down at the end of a horrible dirt road, and it keeps working great! i have no plans on selling my truck for anything else.

  • @jkguitarfreak95 My friend has a 2010 and blew the tranny after 40,000 miles pulling nothing more than a 7 x 14 trailer with 2 four-wheeler in it. Truck never been abuse or driven off-road....

  • @couz650 your the first person that i kno of that has said someones got a Ford truck and blew a tranny with 40k miles and towing practically nothing.... OBVIOUSLY this truck was NOT taken care of or else the tranny could not have just "blown" there has got to be factors at play here.... has the previous owner drove it hard? or if it was a dealership driven did they drive it hard? and how many miles?

  • @dukethewahala Believe it or not, he's the type of guy who take really good care of his truck, boat, 4wheeler and everything that he has with a motor. He only use the best synthetic oils in his toys and change it before time. He might got really unlucky. He pull a 27 foot boat twice a year ang pull his camper for two trip during the summer. Nothing the truck can't take. But that being said, worst stuff happened to my father in law Chevy 2500 4x4.

  • @jkguitarfreak95 ya i have a 99 f150 on 35's and it has 183k with a 5 speed and never misses a beat

  • If would be funny if they did 49 states and skipped California.

  • and look on wikipedia they never lie ford has remained the strongest of the BIG 3 ever since they were all made duramax and cummins guys jus try to make up all these storys trying to prove their truck is the strongest.....haha ford is the best selling thats why they never had to have bailout money and keep their company alive and still going so that proves it to you losers who think that your trucks are the best YAH RIGHT!!!!!!!

  • LOVE MY TRUCK ITS BEST I EVER HAD COMPARED TO MY DODGES AN CHEVYS IVE HAD. I LIVE IN COLORADO SO U ALL KNOW TERRANE. I PULLING HORSE TRAILER LOADED OVER ROCKIES THATS PUSHING 20,000 LBS WITH NO PROB I OWN A RANCH SO IT GETS WORKED HARD WITH HAY SEASON HAULING TRACTORS AND MUCH MORE, GETTING 12.0 MLS A GALLON HAULING HEAVY OR 13,9 -14 PLUSS JUST RUUNING AROUND

  • 150,000 miles aint shit for HD trucks these days... lets see 500,000.. then I may be convinced its all they claim it to be. Seriously.. 150k quick highway miles is comparable to 30k city/highway mix over the course of a year --> Nothin special

  • Well my 2008 f450 didn't make it to 12.000 miles three radiators replaced both batteries over heated had to put in six batteries total starter went out at 15000 miles back bearings went out $1200.00 in tow bills all hose went out at the same time top and bottom to engine two months in the shop you will have to put air bags in can't tow anything heavy on bumper pull squats to much spare tire holder broke wouldnt drive this truck out of any state anywhere ! let a real working man drive it frist!!

  • @gbh1313 ever heard of a fuckin lemon dude? shit happens, there are lemon laws and warranties for a reason retard

  • @krypekeeper i did check out the lemon law the only problom that came up with is that it was being used as a fleet work truck thats what they said trucks gone know i even paid $2500.00 extended warranty i had two warrantys at the same time when the hoses went out thats the one thing that was not covered under that i could not belive it they even accused me of going to mexico filling up with diesel the whole thing was a joke but thanks for responding and understanding like you said shit happens !

  • That would be one sweet job, except for your ass would be sore as hell after the day, at least mine would cause its all muscle.

  • thats all highway miles!!! for example on a good set of tires you can get maby 40,000mi under normal driving (suburbs/ country), their getting 80,000 on a set and 150,000+ on the trailer!!!!!! this goes to show what little wear is really on the truck. im a duramax guy but really eather of the big three should be able to do that no problem. i hope to see a million someday on that truck, that would be neat!

  • I wonder what there average mileage was? I gaurantee it was never over 10 mpg. Those powerjokes are TERRIBLE on fuel! I drove one and i wasn't overly impressed with the power. The only thing Ford has on anyone else is interiors thats it.

  • @BIGblocks4life well i guess ur going to have to stop gauranteing cuz ur gaurantes are bad. fords trucks have better gas mileage then chevys and dodges. chevys and dodge cant do that only ford can.

  • wow imagine changing your oil every 3 days that's a real pain

  • does ford realize how pathetic it is tho only tow 18000 lbs on a 40 foot trailer

  • @camarosledman kinda funny u dont see chevys doin that matter o fact i was behind a 3500 seirra that blew somethin goin up the mts in colorado pullin half that trailer

  • @camarosledman when this video was made neither Chevy or Dodge could handle 18000 lbs so the only companies that are pathetic is dodge and chevy since they couldnt handle that weight with out voiding any warranties

  • finance is wut im doing for this truck next month for my business

  • i call biast on some things he mentioned.......exactly what is regular 6.4diesel maintence???

  • 3:53 - look off the reflection of the car... lol

  • My god they must have had the oil changed every few days if they are averaging 1000 miles a day.

  • man people can say w/e the fuck they want to try and make this seem not badass but they are just mad b/c they know there durrashits and cumfucks couldnt do it

  • How much does the f 450 weigh?

  • @QerXz 20 tons...lol good question

  • THIS is why Ford did not need a fucking bailout like Gm And Chrysler did. My driveway is full of Lincolns and fords.

  • same here...every single immediate family member in my house drives a Ford...nothing else will do. dad has a ranger, all 3 brothers have an explorer, one sis has fusion, other has sport-trac, other has another explorer and i have my taurus...even got my wife in a sable ha ha. every GM product weve tried has let us down...not so for our Fords!

  • i feel sorry for the guys who had to drive the truck must be tired as hell

  • They ride like a log. Better not be constipated...

  • @poojacrew You kidding me? I'd love to be the one to drive this.

  • @taitai907 i wouldnt mind but damn your ass must get sore after a while LOL

  • what can i say BUILT FORD TOUGH

  • Does anyone know if Ford is Testing the 2011 6.7 the same way? If so, I can't find it on the net. I can only find video's of the 2011 pulling just 10,000 off the bumper which is nothing!!

  • Same for me, the probably wont start posting videos until spring of 2010. keep in contact with me and ill let you know when they start testing the 2011 6.7

  • @Fordman903 Ok Thanks!

  • impressive

  • doing more miles in a short amout of time actually does less wear because there are actually less cold starts with no oil circulation for a couple of seconds that is the main engine killer

  • what about the rest of the truck?

  • Same thing. The tranny is shifting gears less and the people are getting in and out less so the interior holds up longer and so on

  • man its not like they just pulled that shit up and down i10 they went through fuckin alaska and all kinds of shit he talked about the towe mode so many times b/c of the way it allowed engine breaking they went through some decent shit with this truch so stop hatin

  • @bobwatters looks like someone needs a life, i shure hope a F450 has engine breaking and you dont get that when you pull long distance everything gets used less, buttons starter sulinoid, basicly EVERYTHING if they did this over a 4 year span i guarante they dont get the same results, and even with thoes valves som oil is going to leak back to the pan

  • yes but very little will leak back not enough to do any damage

and i bet they would get diffrent results but they would probably be close so stop hating

  • no u see thats not what is an engine killer they took care of that along time ago when they put in check valve type things that stop the oil from running down into the oil pan so there is allways oil in the engine

  • No shit i saw this same guy in Douglas Wyoming Fueling up at a pump n go gas station i actually did get to talk to him and he had a ford F350 Foose edition in the trailer with two other motors

  • Ya great and all but there $65,000

  • so what?

  • Yeah Like i would take a chance on another ford Diesel .. THey sold me a shit bag 6.0L ......

  • my dads 08 f450 blew out an engine in battle mountain at 20,000 miles and ford replaced the motor for free

  • "yeah for all 150,000 miles we've had no mechanical issues"

    45 seconds later:

"the reason for the new front tires is because we went to alaska and the roads were so bad they knocked the front alignment off"

thats called a mechanical issue, jackass

  • dude you've clearly never been to alaska . The roads fuck peoples cars and trucks up

  • then why didn't the trailer tires need to be replaced?

  • are you fucking retarded there is barely any strain on trailer tires there also a very hard rubber compound for easy towing and long life

  • no, i'm not, but you are. magically, you wish to believe that weight on the tires and the road conditions have no effect on trailer tires (somehow they will last forever!) but wore out the front tires of the truck. dumbass.

  • he said no mechanical failures knocking the front end out alignment is not a failure dip shit

  • oh yeah i forgot, thats supposed to happen

  • dude it doesnt matter how tuff any part is you drive it on a bad enough road its gonna happen

  • not sure what to think...guy below me says his is slow at 48 mph max at 6% grade with medium load. It is a 450 but is that acceptable i mean the truck is soooo heavy? Its not gonna fly. Nothing to compare it to really

  • I'm not trying to start a flame but, what does this really prove? I mean I bet most brand new cars could drive 150,000 miles in 6 months and be fine. The real test is longevity I'd say. Lets see a truck you've used for 150,000 miles from 10 years ago and put it on this same trip - then I'll be impressed.

  • if it was a gas truck it would be a bit more impressive. since diesel trucks are meant to stand up to towing and long distance travel. ive seen diesels with over a million miles.

  • well, my point was time really although I bet they won't even provide a 150,000 mile warrantee for their diesel trucks. But at anyrate I think it is all a gimmick - although that is just pointing out the obvious.

  • do odometers even go that high....

  • they go up to 999,999. then u just have to estimate ur driving routes.

  • not towing an 18k trailer from day one

  • i want to see a vid of them testing ford chevy and dodge ... i mean i dont think that the pos chevy could make it thru the test but id like to see it try lol the cummins might but i the body and electrics would fall apart before that motor would

  • id like to see a truck with cummins engine, ford turbo, and allison trans... the best from all 3.

  • they make that in f 650 and up

  • i totally agree with u man im a dodge and ford guy

    NO CHEVY!

  • hell yah!! Ford and Dodge all the way..

people who say theyd rather push a chevy than drive a ford usually do

  • hahahahahahaha

  • yupp

  • @benhanson3 nah jus ford

  • @benhanson3 LOL, nicely said.

  • really!?! something cant be right! I have a 2005 dodge 1500 with the 5.7 Gas Engine, I have Firestone airbags on the back to handle the loads and have done 8% grades with 9500 lbs behind it and have left the cruise control at 70, and will maintain, of course it does kick down to 3rd gear, but it still does it no problems!

  • Dodge and ford are the toughest out there! to me

im wanting to get the 2500 powerwagon

  • power wagon all the way! only get a gas engine tho

  • why get a gas?

  • for towing, obviously the diesel is a lot better... I was just stating that dodge only equips the dodge ram power wagon with the 5.7 Hemi Gas Engine

  • sorry i thought it sounded like you wanted a gas, i didn't know they didn't have them as diesels

  • this truck is my dream....................

  • So this was May of 07 and it's now almost August of 09. The guy in the video said they were going to go to 250k with the same truck. Is there a video of that anywhere?

  • nice i love the f450

  • impressive

  • ANY car will last that long if you take care of it. I'm not at all impressed with the truck, I'm much more impressed with the people that drove that much in so little time. What dedication.

  • That is a lot of miles per day in such a small vehicle. I had a Ford dually and we have driven it 1200 miles in a day a few times, and that seemed to be a lot. I've been that many miles a day in a Kenworth or a Freightliner a bunch of time, and it was nothing.

I'm impressed with that trailer holding up so well for that many miles. Trailers are just not as durable as trucks usually are. Its a good video and good advertisement for both truck and trailer.

  • well you should be impressed..it did about a 1000 miles a day...and towing a trailer behind it the whole time ...highly superior to anything toyota can glue together

  • hahah id like to see some pussy toyota do that... OH WAIT THEY CANT!! toyota doesn't even make a truck that powerful hahahahah

  • Comment removed

  • I guess you never got the memo about the first gen Tundra trucks.

  • @wickedblackcamaro haha, why are you comparing gas to diesel dum ass? f-150 would get its ass kicked by a tundra.

  • @hondadirtbikes haha your full of shit, the only thing a tundra can beat an f150 at is a fuckin 0-60 test, and that shit doesnt even matter on a full size truck, ford has the number 1 selling truck for a reason

  • @wickedblackcamaro Just because everyone is stuck up, wants "american made", and ford didnt need bail out money. A cummins will out last anything, period. However there is a duramax out there that blew everyones doors off, 751,000 miles, google it!

  • @hondadirtbikes you're right, cummins is the best, and they are my favorite. I dont like duramax because they go through injectors like crazy

  • @wickedblackcamaro 01-04 lb7 duramax's do go through STOCK injectors, aftermarket ones solve the issue, a efi live tuned duramax will smoke a tuned cummins. sorry

  • @hondadirtbikes well ive driven a stock duramax, and it was nothing to write home about, let's just put it that way.

  • @wickedblackcamaro stock anything is "gutless", however, the stockness of trucks might change now, 2011 LML duramax, check its stock hp and trq, you cant beat it.

  • @hondadirtbikes dude duramax suxxxxxxxxx the new 2011 ford super duty's with their all new engines haha talk about good american made trucks haha a joke ford wins everytime and is best selling trucks.....wait what is it oh yah 33 YEARS HAHAHA

  • @wickedblackcamaro cummins sucks ass dodge needs someone to make their engines cause dodge is toooo hopeless to build their own engines..........and ford didnt need any help in a BAILOUT!!!!!!! HAHA LEARN YOUR FACTS!!!!

  • @cds417 your an ignorant fag, every diesel that chevy, FORD, or dodge has ever made THEMSELVES, sucked ass and were shit, just look at the 6.0 ford, its a terrible engine, they should of stuck with the 7.3 International made motor, and learn YOUR facts before you say stupid shit like this to someone whose' studied heavy trucks for years.

  • @wickedblackcamaro bitch i know my fucken facts so go to hell and suck dick yah the 7.3 liter Ford engine they built for the 2000-2007 models were awsome and the best engines ford ever put in a truck a they gave it all away yah i kno bitch so think before you say shit and chevy and dodge suck ass and everything so just shut the fuck upp

  • Comment removed

  • @cds417 you stupid fag, you can't even write a coherent sentence, go back to school and learn a thing or too, fool

  • Comment removed

  • @wickedblackcamaro yah they did my dad has a 2003 ford f350 lariat 7.3liter

  • @wickedblackcamaro the 444 ci or 7.3L was in ford trucks from 1988 to 2004

  • @kawem22 oh yeah that's right, i think the 6.0 came out in like 2005 didn't it?

  • @wickedblackcamaro it came out part of 2003 then in 2004 and up.....

  • @hondadirtbikes dude it only says 751000 miles no pictures or anything i just looked it FAKE dude u believe anything and if u ever find it with pictures post a link and lets all see if this is true............

  • @hondadirtbikes LOL kicked how? It might be able to beat it 0-60 or something stupid like that but never in what REALLY matters in a truck. TOYOTA will NEVER EVER replace Ford on farms and work sites that use a truck the way they are supposed to be used. They will also NEVER sell more Tundras than F-150's, I guarentee that.

  • he wound up buying the truck from his company in 06 when they bought him a new f150 anyways my point was he went 82000 miles on his tires!!!!

  • Its funny how all these guys talk shit about that truck. But yet you dont and wont see dodge or chevy trying to do the same thing cause they dont have the balls. And yes, the cummins is a good motor, but the truck raped around it is shit.

  • yeah you wish dodge sucks.. try to work on the fords motor!! you have to take the damn cab off to do any work!! the motor and truck are good but it has a bad design up by the motor half of the truck

  • working at 5 minute oil change doesnt make you a mechanic.

  • what????

  • bullshit they went 85000miles on those damn tires

lmao a road messed up the alignment thats sad

but are they gunna do 250000miles?

  • 85000 miles for g rated 10 ply tires on all high way miles is very possible my father does big time driving his previous truck 01 f150 he went 325,000 miles other then normal maintence all he had to touch was the starter thats it!!!!! he went 82000 miles on his first set by normal maintence i mean brakes, tires, plugs, fuel filters, oil changes, and he flushed his trans every 50k it lasted the life of the truck

driving conditions were mostly highway, bout 100k towing, 8-10k offroad

  • damn you got any vids or can you make some of the truck?

  • ill post some video of the truck next time i head home from college i did forget though the truck did have new exaust manifold gaskets put into so other then that just a starter the rest is orginal every thing is functional in however unfortantly the seats didnt make as long is this F450 he had custom fitted leather camo seat covers put in the front to i belive Hatchie Brown was the company that made them

  • its a dually you idiot, since when do you go offroading in a dually?

  • i've seen people go offroading in duallies. nothing new. you can even find a few vids here too.

  • ya but whats the purpose of a dually?

  • towing. but who said its only for towing on road? trucks are meant to take more shit then 150,000 miles of towing on highways.

  • superdutys have so many pros than cons...

  • Nice video. I knew the F450 could make it 150k miles no problem. You see F350 for sale with 200k miles and running. Although I must say, highway miles are a lot easier on your vehicle then city stop-and-go miles. So this search isn't that valid for those who do most of their driving and hauling in the city.

  • the 450 hauls 24k and the new ram vid it hauls only 18k, like the 09, weres ur source of info?

  • Experiences, and either was that Dodge it a single tonne truck and the f 450 is a 1.5 tonne truck
