  • hui that´s really nice!!!!!

  • the song is better played with foo_dumb in foobar2000

  • Amiga 4 ever !

  • you make me cry....

    best game ever made....

    wonderfull remix, tnx a lot!

  • Great job man. Are you thinking in doing more stuff like this with other famous -and not so famous- Turrican melodies? :D

  • Nice work... it sounds great.

I can not stop listening your medley.

    More than 5*

  • nice sound Amiga 500

  • I am blown away! Link it to Chris Huelsbeck, he's easy enough to find!

  • I actually already have about a year or two ago and he never responded. go figure.

  • Hehe. I was more lucky :-)

Please check my Chris Huelsbeck's stuff on my channel

Greets to all C64/Amiga retro fans:)

  • Very nice! :)

  • yoo wonderful 5

  • I've listened to this 50 times or so now. Thank you for creating an amazing mix of the Turrican intro songs.

I also really appreciate your MM9 mixes =).

  • Thanks! Check out the link of the IT file I put in the notes section on the right if you want the "high quality" version.. you'll need an IT player like WinAmp or whatever.

  • This is great. Respect. Also respect obviously also goes out to Chris Hülsbeck for making the epic original tune. I loved making music on the Amiga myself. Great.. 5 stars.

  • Great work, it must have taken absolutely ages! :D

  • Awesome! :)

  • great masterpiece man , Amiga rules !!! cheers

  • where did youget de instruments and samples for shism? great work!

  • superb mix !!!! thank you so much , 5 stars but would like to give you 10 actually ... i am crying right T_T

  • Great work, sounds fantastic. :D

Do I hear the Turrican 3 intro change into the Turrican 2 intro at the beginning of your medley?

  • Very perceptive.

There's a part from Turrican 1 in there that I made from scratch, trying to make it in the Turrican 2 style, as well. That's later in the song, though

  • NICE!

  • I like the Protracker more but the Medley is nice Man ;)

  • Sup tssf!

  • Why does this name seem familiar?

  • #SStrax

  • Cool mix !

  • Jeear! 16 channels? My Oktalyser had 8 channels!

My Noisetracker 4! Great Musik from Chris Hülsbeck.

  • The amount of channels was used to simulate Chris' soundtrack versions of the songs. I wanted to show what the DS was capable of playing back in the homebrew software. I wanted to prove that DS Homebrew was capable of playing back more than a 4-channel MOD.

  • Hey! Sneaky transition you had to the Turrican 3 intro there at the end! Overall nice work, I love the opening to Turrican II. I gotta learn how to play that bass part... and was I hearing some samples from the Turrican soundtrack CD in there, or was my mind just playing tricks on me?

  • Very perceptive. Some of the samples were taken (read: painfully filtered out of) some of Huelsbeck's Turrican soundtracks. The snare at the end was actually pulled out of the TFMX sample file of Turrican 3's Intro. So was the Orchestral hit. Both were processed like crazy. The tom and the clap samples were taken from the soundtrack version of Turrican 2's intro. Yeah. Lotsa fun. :)

  • turrican the best gam ever played on c64 the beginning for 2years al emulator now nice game i play now css and video:P

  • very great remake in impulse tracker (.IT)format, i dont have this in my collection of modules amiga,

  • Very nice Mat. Turrican 2 soundtrack is the best! I listen to it in my car with the windows down! I get some weird looks but that's OK!

  • Thanks man. Gotta talk to you sometime again, we need to catch up.

  • lol when you get weird looks it means you're doing something kool!

Congrats on the great version btw. I got most of Turrican's tracks from C64/Amiga music remix sites.

  • very, very nice cover.

The drums are too loud imo.

  • The drums are too loud because the levels are messed since the audio was down-mixed to mono. There are surround/stereo effects which are going on which don't work well when down-mixed.

  • great job! viva Chris Huelsbeck

  • Der Musik-Meister Hülsbeck strikes again, lol.

  • wow.. just wow... ^^

  • saugeiler song, huelsbeck ftw!

  • viva Chris Huelsback

  • very cool - any link to that module?

  • I can send the .XM-File via E-Mail.

  • nice

  • Chris Huelsbeck is one game composer I cant forget. Why? Super turrican melodies. Thoses melodies are considered classic and its in my head like solid steel. Games back then owns todays game by far. Alot of hardcore gamers would same the samething too.

  • ach ja die alten tracker zeiten. war damals sehr aktiv . paar amateur game soundtracks gemacht und bissl rave (ravers of unity)

  • und andere sind heute noch tätig ;)
