I actually have no clue. But I have noticed stray brush marks and mistakes, so I'd guess they were hand painted. They probably use stencils and an airbrsuh to speed paint the base colors. Then use a fine brush to put on the details.

I recently got a Legacy of the Force set but it contained Imperial Entanglements figures.

Nope, that is not normal at all O.o' All the figures should have the same set symbol at the bottom of the base. Maybe someone tampered with your set :(.

Rebel Storm was the best, had the best sculpted Stormtroopers. And for me, also Clone Strike, cause I had won a complete set of it at a convention. Has a great selection of the prequel Jedi and Clone Troopers. Also, the Battledroids are fun :).

I would love to get into these miniatures, but they're a little expensive and I doubt any of my friends would care to start buying them with me.

Some online stores like Cool Stuff Games have common figures really cheap. Some for even less than a dollar a piece. But, rare main characters can go up in price to $15 or more :(. So yeah, collecting these can get rather pricey :(.

i thought the imperial entanglement was the start of sqaure bases. thats what a friend told me.

Alliance and Empire was the set that had the square bases. Came out quite awhile ago. All the other sets have round bases. Imperial Entanglements is a new set, has a similar theme to the Alliance and Empire set, so that might be why there's some confusion.

Yup, the square bases were only in one expansion. All the rest before and after are roundbases.

Im pretty lucky with this set, i purchased my first 2 packs today. One pack had the Thrawn box art and the other had the Bounty Hunter Leia box art.

I got Thrawn in the Thrawn box and I got Leia Bounty Hunter in the Leia box.

Pretty crazy wish i recorded it.

Sorry about that, heheehheh, bad habit. But I was a kid that grew up in the 70's and all the kids in my area/school called them At-At's so it's just a habit of mine. But, I hear it's not an isolated thing. Just depends on your region and how old you are. Cause back in the old days, we didn't have wookieepedia :). Back then a Gonk was Officially called a Power Droid and an Ithorian was called a Hammerhead, and Ponda Baba was known as Walrus Man :).

Don't forget though, that you'd need a starter set to play the game, which will come with the rulebook, map and counters. But not necessary if you are just collecting.

Yup, the Bacta Tank isn't that great :(. But, at least it is Uncommon, so you'll still get a Rare figure in the box with it :).
