Changed the pickup for a seymour duncan, and playing through a Marshall JMP-1. Strats are good sounding guitars IMO.

It's a "fake" fender (made in mexico) Payed about $600 for it. I would take fender over gibsons any day =)

Mine it right beneath the tone control. Originally I wanted it where morello himself have it, you know on the horn there, but it would be more work for the guy who was installing it, so I just put it where I ahve all the other knobs :P

The last note of the solo is meant to be spooky, it's a tritone (G# on Dmin), Tom also makes a chord there sometimes, it's even more spooky.

Though the last 3 notes are 8va, that's a really nice cover there. Only little mistake, 1 bar before the "Now you do what they told 'ya" it's a C chord, just 2 frets below the following D chord.

I think you're doing the solo wrong because i bought the RATM guitar tabulature book and it says to go down the neck of the guitar more..idk if the tabs are different from live and the studio recording...it would be alot of help to me if anyone could give me CORRECT tabs because I see everyone doing it different from the book..thanks. Sounds professional, i got a question about your whammy. Is your pedal loose, cos i recently got a whammy and the pedal feels really stiff, it's mega hard to move at times. Was yours like that when you first got it? I'm wondering if it is possible to alter the treadle, to make the pedal easier to use.
