For all those talking about tone n balance I feel you! But at the same time this is not concert band..and experiencing SU's power in person is AMAZING. Our style compliments the loud, belligerent,and rough game for which marching bands are there to support. However when we decide to do ballads or gospel we could do a better job with tone quality, balance, etc. But if the song is Rap/pop..YOU KNOW WHAT IT IS..BRACE YOSELF!

Thank you hero129. I bet the folks talking that noise are not arrangers. Whole notes and power bands(and for that matter a power sound) go hand in hand. It's called a chord. lol I guess some people miss this.  Whole notes are common in many a marching band and they work on so many levels. Especially for a song like this.

@hero129 they not hatin its just that its note really impressive if they playing whole notes. and just because you're loud doesnt mean you're good. having a good sound quality does and that's what pvamu has. dont get me wrong i think jukebox is the best as far as entertainment goes but sound wise no. cause they only sound good on certain songs
