  • What type of strings do you use?

  • Hi, I think this was a set of D'addario dulcimer strings, plus an extra identical one for the doubled top strings.

  • gentle sound!

  • Hello ,

    Love Dulcimer Lovely tone .

May I ask How are they tunned?

    Best Wishes

    Nick

  • Hi, thanks Nick. This one's tuned DAdd withe the 2 top strings in unison, but there are lots of alternatives depending on the strings used/scale length etc such as EBE, GDG etc

  • Hey, this is absolutely phenomenal! I'm looking at building one of these my self and I was wondering if you could tell me a few things.

1.With ough the head stock how long is the fretboard? Could you tell me where exactly you placed the frets? As in exact inches?

2.How far down on the body is the bridge?

    Thanks a lot!
