i really don't know where this guy find this ugly interface, but honestly on the other review and offerical website the interface looks much nicer. also, archos is NOT dumb enough to make this kind of product without through in an accelerometer, not "literally" named as accelerometer, they called it "G-ssensor"( which i assume stand for gravity sensor or something like that). and duh, of course it have a apps store, also when 2.2 relased it will support android market, or so i been told.

Archos for the win. It is definitely the competition for the iPad at the moment. People are talking about the JooJoo and the Slate but they don't really exist on the market. Bestbuy only sells iPad and Archos. That is the real game right now. If you only want a tablet for internet, email, and youtube, get the Archos 7 for sure. Watch out for the Dell Streak in 2011 though, if you have the money.

Archos is great, you actually get some hard drive space, and you don't have to pay for online service like iphone/ipad, archos can just use any old wifi. Archos is built on linux faster processor and just overall better, I've had an archos 5 for long time and it's great, looking to get a 7 soon

It is not that Apple "cannot" do flash on the iPad. It is more of a "won't" do flash scenario. They do not want homebrew software on their device in any way, shape or form unless they can force it to pass through their app store.
