Timber Ripper Mountain Coaster - Vermont's 1st Roller Coaster - Okemo Mountain Resort

Tried it this past weekend. Coaster meets alpine slide (sort of).

Not quite as long, or as fast as an alpine slide, but still good for a couple rides. The kids we saw riding love the hell out of it.

No idea how developed mountain coasters are, hopefully Okemo expands on it and gives us something longer, faster, and higher off the ground at times for us go-fast guys.

very fun, very cold even on warm days, kinda short though and expensive for 1 ride. if your money tight, save it for the lift tickets!

Mountain coaster is an interesting idea, but I can't imagine this thing giving better thrills than skiing

ohh boy,very concerned about these folks reaction. Loved how when you spilled out into jackson gore off the main mountain you just felt like you were comin out into a new peaceful and untouched ski village... so untouched and pure. hope they realized that most people felt that way about Gore. what a beautiful place.. hope this Coaster doesnt take away from that.. How could it not.. Damnit i want my old Gore back already..

@CatchHellBlues16 Yeah the Gore was always great because of its relative seclusion from the rest of Okemo. Hopefully this doesn't clog up the base.
