  • Hallo,

Nice vids, is this footage taken in the Lake district ? I've been going to Sweden for more than 10 years now. I'am thinking of going to Finland next summer with the family. Any tips on wich region I should go. The you know any adresses or site's where I can look for a stuga, in preference close to a lake of course.

Is it easy to get there by car ?

    Tight lines

  • Hi! I'm going to try jerkbait fishing in this summer but I read in some forum that jerkbait fishing isn't really effective in lakes and rivers. So am I crazy if I go jerkbait fishing in small lake for example? Can you recommend me some small to medium size jerkbaits for beginner to get started =)

  • @surataL Most of by fishing buddies called me crazy when i started jerkbait fishing, because of the size of the lures i was using, so, no, i don't thing that any type of fishing could be crazy if you manage to catch fish. I caught plenty of small pikes on really huge lures. You could try the 10 cm Salmo Slider witch is really easy to fish, Jakki makes some 10-12 cm jerks as well, and give a try to the buster jerk ll and the baby buster from strike pro.

  • @XquiZZiT2007 this is a bit late, but the lures don't even have to be purpose made jerk baits, I don't really have any, but any minnow shaped lure will jerk, some better than others, suspending or slow floating ones work best- Storm Wildeye minnow, Rapala Husky jerk, Rapala X-Rap-all great, the first two have a really nice slow wiggle as well when just retrieved, so you have a dual purpose bait!- I just love storm lures- they're Rapala quality without the price tag!

  • Why WOULDN´T jerkbaits work at lakes and rivers as well as they do at the sea? We´re talking about the same Fish everywhere! I´ve been using jerkbaits on river fishing for three seasons now. Very fun and often also the deadliest type of lure for normal Northern Pikes 1 - 6 lb. My favourite lures are Strike Pro Buster Jerk II for shallow places, sinking Salmo Slider and Westin Jerk suite well in deeper water.

  • frumoase peisaje... frumosi pesti ;)

  • Mersi! Nu vrei sa facem schimb de pesti?? :)))

  • i've caught those about 2 months ago. rock solid ice all over here as well. now i'm on my way for some ice fishing :))

  • ahh your lucky, in norway its ice all over the lakes
