yeap, just me a camcorder and music....and the music and vocal all r recoeded through the camcorder mic...its a sony, so far it seems to be pretty damn good.....well worth the money, it was $700.

I think I might have the same camera (which I never really get to take full advantage of because I rarely record sound through it). But with the few times I have, I was amazed that it's full stereo which is very accurate without external mics attached... and even has surround options.
