  • barry taylor's my drum teacher. I just started.

  • Best warm up (first 40 seconds) and Barry Taylor

reminds me of Ginger Baker from 2:40 - 3:05.

  • Brilliant makes me weep

  • "hula girl song" = Hullaballoo Girls

"Do you remember back in '64?

On yer tv screen they'd tear across the floor

While the band was ripping to the latest rage

The Hullaballoo girls took the stage"

Art Bergman rawks! K-tels, X-tels, Young Canadians, Poisoned, Solo. All good!!

    Be Well.

  • Great stuff!

  • He was the best drummer. I saw them live many times in different cities. They were awesome live. Raw frantic and deliberate.

  • My favorite Young Canadians song, hula girl song (forget the name at the moment) was pretty cool. Best drummer in the Van scene.

  • Shit...that was one great sounding stratoaster Art had back - too bad some asshole stole it...it was a beauty!

  • Cool. I've never heard of these guys.

"The K-Tels" is a MUCH better name than "Young Canadians". Fucking corporate assholes.

  • Art Rocks!
