I've just been to Gran Canaria and yes; there is a big industry with scamsters haunting for people along the beaches. Someone in my family did get carried away and ended up buying a holiday-package through Club Ambassador. Big mistake! If you ever meet up with someone representing this club, or Puerto Calma Club, STAY AWAY! The legal system in countries like Spain must have some serious loopholes when swindlers like this can continue this dirty business unpunished!
Stay away from Timeshares!! They are too expensive, have too many hidden fee's, time restrictions, and don't offer enough flexibility for it's Timeshare owners.. Instead, buy an Exclusive Lifetime Vacation Club Membership for a ONE-TIME FEE.. For detailed info, check out my videos!
Wow, tarring everybody with the same brush. Typical media. There are many large holiday companies who don't scam people and don't pressure people and don't condone touts on the street. They run their business professionally with an aim to please the clients, yet this is the reward they get; being punished for the shocking practices of backstreet operating scam artists? Ask yourself this, are all car salesmen like Arthur Daley? It's a case of doing your homework and knowing who you holiday with.
My mum did timshare its a living hell!! Now she gets no money and its horrible now we have lots our house our car but then again Im glad because she has learned a lesson she was stealing! and how do u think that made me feel? well I think u can imagen Now timeshare is hardly ggeting its way out of the crisis and police are taking all presentation areas down.If u see anybody with a scrach card just smile and walk away =) dont be a fool!!!
Timeshares are a glorified ponzi scheme. Here is an example: Lets say a popular resort has 400 units in one building at a popular vacation destination. A year has 52 weeks and if each week is being sold for $25000 to consumers, the resort makes 52 * $25000 = $1.3 Million for one unit. For 400 units, the resort just raked in a whopping $520 Million in cash. With maintenance fees of $1000/year, the resort collects $52000 in maintenance fees/unit/year, totaling $20.8Million for 400 units.
may be u should expose illumanti!!!!!!!so many illumani videos, most of them reaching a view of one million and so obvious, but why doesnt bbc hasnt done anythin abou it!maybe i sound mad,but look deep u know how biased bbc gets at times!!!!!!!!
these scamsters will do anything, and go to any extent to show that they are genuine, as with a few comments here too. i have gone through similar experience. the scamsters operate in exactly the same way.
tourists can really get carried away when their defenses are down in a far away place and in a relaxed mood - they will get sucked easily. the plot is all a very well laid out plot.
thank you for any and everyone who report these scams. they get away lightly from the law!
omg... these is my everyday. dealing with people who were caught into the timeshare trap. i've heard EVERYTHING. My only question still remains: why would you even believe a salesman???
The truth is, that this way of holidaying is becoming more and more popular every year. With hundereds of memberships being sold every month even the big hotels like marriot are getting in on it. dont believe the bad press come along to a friendly no pressure presentation and see for your self the savings!
