yeah well i totally think they are referring to a total different thing... They are trying to say that God is our sun in the sense that He gives us energy, life, light...without the sun, literal and symbolic, we would die in an instant...
maybe they mean that He is our light, but no, God is not the sun itself that we see in the sky. if God were the sun, that would mean the Creator is his creation. It's like saying the inventor of the telephone is the telephone. Totally illogical. Sorry
