This is an enourmously creative short film. The commentator's comments are illuminating. I'm still not sure why the innocent freckle faced boy turns into a devil child. The kid looks a lot like a friend of mine when I was around 11 YO.

Interesting, but odd story. I thought I was following it all right up until nearly the end. Why did the angel fall instead of fly away at 8:10 and what was so bad about the boy that he ended up changing to a devil-child, please?

It is more a story of lost innocence and contamination with Evil then an ordinary fairytale. Both the boy, and the Angel are exposed to evil. Cruel mother, police violence on the streets (it was shot in communist Poland), violence on tv... The angel is misused as a cheap attraction in some kind of a backyard theatre. He is also contaminated with evil and he cannot fly anymore. People have destroyed his power. I wish he could fly away and the boy would remain iinncocent. But who does?
