From what I've read in the accident reports is engine failure after engine failure. It seems to me that the design was good... the engine was bad. putting a 2 stroke that has the warning something like "not for use in aircraft" in a helicopter is sure doom. Too bad, I love the machine otherwise.
giovanitonel do you have a mini 500? Have seen a turbine fly with your own eyes, not just hover. They fall out of the sky. By the way that was my ship and I have hovered it, not turbine powered.

You'd be safer riding a bicycle on the 401 in rush hour. They are out of business for a reason - too many good pilots killed by its poor design.
