Is it just me or is society becoming dumber all the time? You notice that virtually all other music puts out the same crap over and over, and it’s mostly about love? Metal talks about everything else. Metal makes you think, and feel as you think. The powers that be don’t want this. Melodic metal is the only type of music that appeared and almost completely disappeared in a matter of twenty odd years. All other music has remained. Does this seem odd to anyone else? Just thinking, I guess.

@dantechick yeah u r right cuz i grew up in the 80s metal scene ! im from ,boston,mass all the shows were at the channel.(a club that no longer exists ) but the channel used 2 have a show at least 2 times a month with all the cool metalbands i went to about 40 of them in 5 years,,,awesome times, i could rebel against the world like teenagers do or we did,,good times ill never forget,,,,

Saw WASP and Armored Saint open for Metallica in 1985 at a little club in Baltimore,MD called Coast to Coast. WASP was fucking awesome. Have some still photos i took from that show- Blackie holding the bloody skull.
