  • What an innovation!

What is the name of this song? I've heard it a million times somewhere.

    Nice product....

  • The music is Mozart 3rd movement from Piano Sonata A major K.331 (also known as Alla Turca or Turkish March or Turkish Rondo). I particularly like this one. I used to play it myself back in high school. Probably one of the most popular pieces by Mozart.

    Thanks for your comments!

  • nice music and presentation!

  • In a similar experiment we just ran, Re is 65 based on average velocity.

  • Ok thx, i was expecting low Re due to huge separated boundary layer area at the extrados, but as i saw the fluid is water i couldn´t expect any kind of behaviour.

In fact, i was told once that the equivalent of Re in water experiments is the Froude number. Anyway, i check now the behaviour is quite similar.

You see, i never get tired of learning about these kind of things (fluid dynamics) TY people and keep uploading these vids!!

  • Nice!! Re=?

  • Thx! fluid is water at about 20C in a duct. Seed particles are highlighted via laser. Video is captured at 30fps and the width corresponds to about 20-30mm. I don't think we noted speeds though. I ll be sure to note more info next time we try a new one. This is an experimental PIV and visualization device we have been working on. We are having fun playing with it :-).
