how do you tune to drop c mate i never do it and ive been playing a year or so

tune to drop D then put all strings down on step.

so high E down to D

B down to A etc

get a tuner and drop tune

if you want to do it by ear, in standard tuning the E string should be the same as A string if you hold fret 5 on the E. de-tune it to C until the 9th fret is the same as A. Thats how I do it by ear quickly, use harmonics if you your familiar with them to be more accurate. If not, there are some online tuners you can use. Or, get a tuner :)
