One side-effect of these holsters or this method of carry:

It makes scratching your nads more difficult.

Taking a leak is no problem, though. Just push it ot the side.

Went with a Smart Carry. Works great with my Sig P220 and P239. Very comfortable, I forget I have it on after the first couple of minutes. It's great for deep concealment. Drawing takes a little practice but once you get it down, it's pretty easy.

With either holster (or that goofy Cell Pal thing, for that matter), you can't draw from any position but standing upright, it's slow and awkward, it's in the way when you need to pee, it's very difficult to get a safe, secure grip on your gun while drawing, and it looks like you have a giant, freakishly-shaped boner whenever you sit down.

DO NOT WANT!

A good tuckable IWB holster or elastic bellyband holster just makes more sense than a crotch holster in every way.

THIS is Thunder's suggestion when I told them the whole gun including grip goes into the holster...

Put on the holster, as instructed. Now, draw your weapon. Using your index finger & your thunb, reach down and pinch the grip of the gun and extract the gun using your 2 fingers, than swivel in the palm of your hand after the gun is extracted. If your still having trouble we want to speak with you to address any problem.

@rollsi1 Are you freakin kidding me? I am supposed to first get to the holster and THEN draw WITH A PINCH BETWEEN TWO FINGERS? This holster was not cheap and is totally useless to me as is. What's the point of specifying which gun you are going to use with it if they are just going to send whatever. Who the hell draws a gun PINCHED between a thumb and a finger.  Absolutely freakin ridiculous.

I carry a full size 1911 in one and it's fine. Just wear it at 11 o'clock so the barrel goes down the left pants leg on the inside.

Got my SmartCarry yesterday and LOVE it. Much easier to draw than I was expecting. Truly remarkable concealment! I carry a G22 with one in the chamber. The muzzle actually points down to the ground without threatening your manhood...IF you put the holster on properly. I'm VERY pleased with this. You can carry a full size weapon while wearing a SUIT. VERY IMPRESSIVE, and the price was great.

I have a Smart Carry for my LCP + magazine. It's by far the most comfortable carry method for even a pocket pistol like the Ruger. One drawback to typical IWB carry is sizing your pants larger than normal, but no worries with the Smart Carry unless you're a fan of skinny jeans that is. Thanks for the review. You're a brave man.

Looks like it would either dig into your gut (especially for us big guys) when sitting - or it would get pushed down and out - printing like a 45 caliber woody... Can youshow us a demo video with you walking, sitting, twisting your hips, etc? Tha would be helpful to show printing (or lack of printing) during use... And yes: How DO you pee with that thing on?

@BlindSniperSurvival i agree that you wouldnt have to worry about where the gun is... having attitude and being self aware are key to concealed carriers. however. i'm no idiot but am Very Comfortable with carrying WITH one chambered and safety DISENGAGED. for the simple reason that if i'm approached with DEADLY FORCE. I May see it comming I MAY NOT.. however I draw... I FIRE.. I MAYBE SURVIVE. if i draw. disengage safety rack the slide.. i MAY NOT EVEN GET A ROUND OFF! quickness is key
