  • shez got tt's;)

  • All you people ranting about the "stock" motor in the car need to just silence yourselves for a moment and notice the lack of engine noise emanating from the Cobra as it passes down the track. That's usually a pretty good hint, something magical is at work in the exhaust making extra power and a less obvious noise. If you don't understand this comment, then congratulations you don't know shit.

  • @DrivenMind ....very well said......

  • @DrivenMind Haha- Sounds like turbos to me...

  • @DrivenMind is it a valve that shuts the gas off? ;]

  • Gorgeous build. It's perfect.

  • that's hot!

  • This is what happens when you give a beer can a big engine

  • @cowboyTY42

3 million $ beer can not bad ( naturally aspirated )

not to mention the year it came out.

you might wanna check up and see how well the Shelby motor done @ Lemans.

  • How much for the whole build?

  • oooOOOOOHhh it whistles ;D

  • FAST!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wow! nice nice!!

  • any idea what the rear wheel hp is also stadard or automatic? awsome vid thanx for sharing

  • It's an auto tranny, specifically a Lentech AOD. I think the hp setting at that time was about 575 at the wheels. Cheers.

  • I was thinking the EXACT same thing. Good call.

  • Is it's turbo or supercharged?

  • It has twin turbos. I took it back to the track for one pass this year and I went 10.075 in the 1/4. This was despite spinning on the back half of the track on some spilled fluid which hurt my mph. Look up "twin turbo cobra at the drag strip" on this site.

  • @twinturbo331 what turbo's,engine spec's,transmission, easy 9 second car,fit a proper roll cage, your going way to fast to survive a roll over with that roll bar.I plan on a 1933 build, first thought was ,roll bar, fire, electrical shut off.

  • @inagod It's a Dart block 331 with good internals, twin 50 trim t3t4e hybrid turbos, Lentech AOD.

  • @inagod I took it to the track last weekend and it ran 144 mph in the 1/4. You can click my name to see the video. Cheers.

  • Amazing... nice ride!

  • wow man at some tracks they make you have a full cage to run much faster than that

  • awesome cruiser , with the ease you did that run it liiks like it would do 9`s with out too much effort....congrats.

  • Wow very nice.Just out of curiosity how

fast is it 0 to 60?

  • When I tested it on the street with my g-tech meter, 0-60 was 2.8 seconds.

  • dude keep these going thats a well set up ride you've got there .....come on lotto...

  • Nice launch! It's hard to not to go up in smoke from the line with a Cobra.

  • thats what they should run, most aren't set up right or are poorly tuned, lets face it with 2200 plus pounds,450 hp should put you in the tens.Nice job.

  • SCHWEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!

  • Wow man thats cool nice ride FFR's are bad..WB3

  • Wallicimo1, no before and after dyno runs. The engine was built for boost and tuned with the turbos at Fast Specialties in Vancouver, WA.. At 15 lbs boost, pump gas, it makes 740 rear wheel torque.

  • Twinturbo, keep making these videos! Truly awesome time for a streetable/streeted car with suspension!! I want to see you toast some sports cars...

  • Calcun, for another video of my car, I just posted a video titled twin turbo Cobra acceleration run. Cheers.

  • It's a Factory Five Racing "roadster". The tranny is a Lentech AOD with full manual shifting (my 5 spd broke last year). It's like driving a street legal go cart that corners as well as go straight.

  • it's quicker than a Veyron (oh no! the Euro's will start criticizing this statement) in the quarter--probably $1.45M cheaper, too! LOL

  • That car is awesome. I like the fact that you don't have it all race, i.e. drag slicks/skinnies. Do you take it on the street? How drivable is it?

  • Calcun, I drive the car on the street pretty much any time the weather permits. A few weekends ago I put 400 miles on it out enjoying some country roads. It is very driveable with a 650 rpm idle and 20 mpg cruising down the highway. The suspension is set up for handling, not drag racing. I drove it out to the strip just to get an idea of what it would do. Just a fun street car that lets you feel the wind and sun on your face. Thanks for the comments.

  • First of all I LOVE the colors! Second, I was wondering what the turbos did for the HP and torque output? Have you had it Dyno'ed before and after the turbos were put on?

  • Which kit is this? What transmission?

  • contact twinturbo331. He has the specifics.

  • Nice pass.

  • It's running a twin turbo 331. Just a fun run down the strip and got booted off the track.

  • What cobra kit is this? Which trans? Very nice setup!

  • It's TT.

  • Nice... is it TT or single?
