Yes it is. High center of gravity. Besides which, MANY of the control techniques are not only the opposite of a 2 wheel bike, but are also counterintuitive... for example, too tight a turn for the speed INTO the sidecar will raise the hack wheel. Careless handling of the front brake will cause it to front flip. If possible, at least get somebody with a hack rig to show you the ropes before you take off on your own. Even better... take a hack riding class if you can.
we have never had a problem with the spokes on the bike,, its the sidecar wheel that takes the hammering,, spokes tend to need adjusting every couple of weeks on the chair wheel,, enjoy

It's impressive that those spoked wheels can handle
the side loads they put on them. Once I sell my sportbike I intend to get a Ural "Gear Up".
But I think I will wear a helmet.
