  • Woah, you're pretty freakin' awesome.

  • this is awesome good job. ha pretty chill to deftones :>

  • Beautiful - I like it very much, you have a talent <3

  • You've got yourself a good looking abstract with oils.

  • in the begning the black marker line r shown but then suddenly they'r all smugged and faded how did u do that? used ur fingers or brush ? did u blend the two side by side colour together?? by the way nice painting,

  • @ariana1351 He painted over it using the oil paints.

  • @ariana1351 hi! i painted over the marker and then blended the two blocks of colour into each other by using a combination of my fingers and a brush, smudging it all in the same direction, following the curve. hope that answers your question, and thank you!

  • what do you call this piece/what was your inspiration?

  • Wow O.o

  • muy bueno :)

  • hahaha.. the end.

  • Very NICE!!!

  • Love it! wish i could claim it as my own and put it on my wall! :P

  • Mee likeyy! ^_^

  • @timelapse19 Awesome ! Beautiful ! <3

  • Amazing Abstract.

You have inspired me make one for my Art Class. :D

But I have a small question.

The how much water does it have to be the Acrylic.

Does the paint have to be thick or thin?

    Hope you understand me D:

  • @JennyxCookies119 thank you. that's great! i didn't use acrylic for this painting, just oil paint. and i used it straight from the tube. no thinning at all. it's quite thick already and blends very well. with acrylic it would be difficult to produce an effect like i did here due to acrylics drying very quickly. hope that helps!

  • @timelapse19 Ohh ok. Thanks :D

  • @JennyxCookies119 no problem!

  • OMG this beutiful art keep it up:)

  • @joice3233 thanks very much!

  • @emmablue706 a mixture of blending with a brush and smearing it with my fingers

  • did you get paid for this

  • @speedman11111 :D nooo. that'd be nice.

  • did this turn out how you expected it to, or did you just go with it? :)

  • @aboumandands a bit of both. i started with a basic idea and then went with it.

  • @21D70F2D hah oh thank you!

  • Hey -

This is great, do you sell your work anywhere? Perhaps online? How much would you charge?

  • @Psychology105 i don't have many paintings currently, this is just one of a few. i haven't thought about selling them online or charging for them. i've only sold artwork through random offers from people.

  • This is really unique and I love the colors! I've never thought to use my fingers to smudge and blend paint... I'll definitely be trying that soon.

  • i usually don't like art at all... but this is REALLY awesome!!

  • Hey, awesome abstract. I've never used oils before just acrylic, so I'm wondering how you blended the black like that.. after you filled in the black the next part just showed it all blended so i was like wait...how'd that happen haha..

  • @pizforpenny89 hah yeah sorry, i managed to completely miss that bit out. i used my finger and a dry brush to blend it together. ( you get a quick glimpse at 1:42)

  • Very beautiful and inspiring!

  • @cocoskanin thank you!

  • You perfectly captured the mood. Truly remarkable. Love you style.

  • @HPedregal63 thanks very much! :)

  • one thing guys stop trolling and tell this person how good his art is =D shut up about how abstract sucks just because you cant do any better

  • @Thebean201 hah thank you!! :D

  • @polkysy10 Many abstract artist now just splash paint on the canvas randomly not having a clear direction and call it art. That is what I call crap. First it violates the principles of a good art, second it has been done several times. If it was the first time, the would call it art because it's new, but it's not.

In the end, this is just only my opinion. Don't take it too seriously. If you don't agree then fine, I don't agree with you either.

  • @polkysy10 Any form of art IMO has four parts - lines, color, texture and a subject. An abstract art has four as well - lines, color, texture and a cloaked subject. Abstract art also has principles, it's about how lines, color, texture interact with each other, and how they are true to the subject. That is how to judge an abstract art.

  • @polkysy10

Now I'm not saying any abstract art is always good. Jackson Pollock's drip abstract art is good IN HIS TIME because it's new, there's a novelty factor, and he explored a new world. Now If you do what he did in this year 2011, I might question you if it's real art or crap, because first it's no longer "new", second you might just be a kid trying to look genius and hiding his amateurness. I may not know.

  • @polkysy10 Abstract art is about decoding things into the simplest form, our eyes may not see the end product, but our minds interprets it and suggest emotions. It's an art for our minds, not for our eyes.

  • @timelapse19 You clearly don't understand art at all. You're too traditional. Too old. Maybe you're my grandma, or grandpa. Hello it's 2011.

Abstract art is like techno music, there's no lyrics that you can hear but there are just mixtures of sound which create emotions. Any painting is just about the emotions. A traditional painting uses mediums(human figures, cats, flowers blah blah) to evoke these emotions. An abstract art uses NO mediums, it's the emotions itself, the emotions are painted

  • Thats one of the nicest paintings I've seen recently, in my opinion. I like how abstract art can promote feelings without "telling" you what to feel. Very nice work man

  • @SMHyde94 thanks a lot, glad you think so!

  • for a minute i thought this was a justin bieber music video. SURE HAD ME FOOLED

  • @mixitashix hahaaaa. you're fantastic

  • Ive got the same phone as you! Now onto a matter that actually relates to your video..... I love how you've blended the colours together! It looks like you've used charcoal based on the finished painting, great work :)

  • @leeshafish alriiight same phones! :D thanks very much!

  • Hi, could this work with acrylic aswell?

  • @dvdvns you could try. although acrylic is fast drying so you wouldn't be able to blend the paint so well like i've done here.

  • @timelapse19 Cheers

  • Penso che questa pittura è molto bello!

  • @summer7smile Grazie. sei molto bella!

  • Is it just me or does that look like a Butterfly? o.o

  • WOW. Nobody could have done that. i bet it took months.

  • beutyfull

  • I think its funny that people do not think you need talent to paint abstractly. Well lets see you try to paint something that detailed. It not as easy as you might think.

  • Parabéns trabalho lindo!! :)

  • @huende obrigado! :)

  • @polkysy10 wow... you really got me there -.-' ... not

  • @polkysy10 you are a total d*ck ... fu thats real talent over there and you're too dumb to understand it
