he's over-hyped and missing the mark on a lot of things lately, but maybe that's because Grant Morrison is genuinely going crazy.

Batman RIP is a bit crackhead, but I'm liking Final Crisis. And I don't know anyone who doesn't like All Star Superman. Even take that away and you still have a stupid pantheon of ridiculously imaginative awesomesauce under his belt. He's just too accomplished to simply call him overrated.

Somebody should kick me in the head. I retract my earlier statement. I totally forgot about All Star Superman! Arrgh. Maybe it's enough to say he's hit or miss. Maybe my expectations are too high. His Animal Man stuff was great. His JLA run was average. His run on New X-Men frustrated me. The Mystery Play was interesting. All Star Superman is the bizzomb! Final Crisis has been a little inaccessible to me. I'm not that informed about DC history. Consider the earlier post old fanboy frustration.

I'm with Justin on the Morrison's New X-Men run. It didn't grab me with it's first story arc, and the last three story arcs really did nothing for me. I guess I liked the stuff in the middle, but do you really want to have a hard time getting into a movie have fun for 30 minutes to an hour and then feel bored, insulted or disgusted with the end?
