Anyone who remembers Week 17 that same year, the Giants were up something like 28-16 in the 3rd quarter. It took a heck of a comeback by the Pats to win by a final score of 38-35. That then was enough to conclude that the Giants can play with the Pats. The Pats had 60 minutes in the Super Bowl to do something about it and the Giants beat them, moreso than the Patriots lost. No fluke.

@britose111 he put up 14 points in the most important game of the season...you cant user htis game as clutch..the touchdown was to a wide open randy moss..he is overrated..im not saying he is bad, because he is still one of the greatest to play, but throwing to open receivers doesnt make him clutch..which is what he did with his tight ends and receivers every agme thanks to his o-line..and it shows the last two times he played the giants just 4 td's..cant handle pressure as good as others
