cuz it's big for a service academy to beat a team like ND any year. even when AF won in 07 it was big for the players, fans and program.

The USAFA does not recruit big name high school players. The academy's main purpose is to produce United States Air Force Officers, not football players. Air Force needs first, football second. It does not matter if ND was good or not that year, it's the fact the USAFA beat a school like ND in football.

Congrats to all those players who on that team. IT WAS A BIG DEAL.
