Call of duty is very dumb and stupid and i have proof: The PTRS-41 is in the bolt-action rifle catergory, but in the description for it, it says "Russian gas-operated rifle". So they are totally contradicting themselves. The BAR is also in the machine gun catergory. BAR stands for Browning Automatic Rifle. Exactly! Its a rifle, not a machine gun. In the war, it was classified as a support weapon, not a machine gun. Also the mosin nagant bolt handle is not turned down its straight.

Type100 and MP40 are good old shakers lol. However Type100 with supressor has been pretty sneaky gun on smaller maps like Corrosion, Subway or Sub Pens. I still prefer Tommy with round drum on smaller run and gun maps.

@paulm696 The Gewehr 43 is better than the M1A1 Carbine. The Gewehr 43 fires the 7.92x57mm cartridge, whilst the M1A1 fires the much less powerful .30 calibre pistol cartridge. The Gewehr 43 is more reliable and is accurate to 600 yards, whilst the M1A1 is accurate to only 150 yards. So the Gewehr 43 is obviously better isnt it?

@sonics41 The Type-38 Arisaka was more like the worst bolt action of the war. Well second actually, id say the Italian Carcano was the worst. The Arisaka was shit compared to rifles like the Karabiner98k, Lee-Enfield No4 and Mosin Nagant M91/30. The action was bad on the Arisaka, it often would not chamber a round first time you pushed the bolt foward. The 6.5x50mm is not a good cartridge either.

@TaZ101SAGA The Arisaka does suck in real life, I mean you could mistake it for the typical wooden stick, but on this game they make it like some bolt action rifle on steroids. Instead of shooting, I think, a 30-30 round in real life (correct me if I'm wrong), the game makes it seem like it shoots a close second to a .50 cal. bullet. In real life the Karabiner98k and any Mosin-Nagant variation would be 5x better for war.

@MogzyPker Are you shitting me? The MG42 was easily the best Light Machine Gun of the war. It was simple, reliable, very effective and many troops were gunned down in terror by its high rate of fire. The Engineering for this weapon was way ahead of its time. Some MG42's had a ROF around 1300RPM, the fastest rate of fire of any single barrelled machine gun ever. It was so terrifying that most troops would hit the ground as soon as they heard it firing, even if it wasnt being fired at them.

@lxca8211 The Kar98k sucks? The Kar98k sucks????????!!!!! what the fuck are you on. It was one of the best weapons of any nation in the war. Strong, robust, very accurate, can take out guys 800 metres away easily. The Bolt was very strong and could be operated much faster than the Mosin's bolt. The shitty russian powder for the Mosin-Nagant would cause whats called a 'sticky bolt' where it would be stiff and difficult to work the bolt. The Kar98k could run dry and still work perfectly.
