ACS is a great place to work. The people are great and the staff work their butt off to accomodate you and make you feel great about yourself. Everyone is always happy and the atmosphere is fantastic. Highly recommended!!!!!!!!

"Medical, Dental, Vision"....yes, at a $1000 deductible, and who the hell can afford that? They overwork their reps on the phones and literally feed them to the lions with the abusive callers we have to put up with on a daily basis. I was on the phones for wireless for two and half years, though it was not near as awful as Voicewing.
If the owner of ACS is reading this....from me to you: I HOPE YOU FRY IN HELL!
ACS is a dead end in life. I suggest avoiding it. Some people are really successful there, but its definitely not for everyone. Maybe 5 percent of the population can handle it. If you have no problem being managed by incompetent morons in a company with ZERO structure, then apply today!
I worked for this place when it was Livebridge. I hated the stupid conversion rate. Like I could force anyone to apply for something they didn't want. I eventually quit cause I was tired of HR bitcing and moaning about conversion. I am now a state certified interpreter and I look back on it as a total waste of time.
I have moved on since this job to the Dept. of Corrections and now I am working for a federal contractor in Seattle. I am close to finishing my BA. Anybody who is worth anything will leave this job and remember it as an easy job.
I worked here for 6 months after I needed a job fast out of the military. The pay is not that great but hey its work. Most of the people who get fired are the laziest pieces of crap in history of employment. People falling asleep at their phone, showing up late, calling in sick, etc. Don't expect to get good career acting like that. Also this place is more of a meat market then it is customer service. Yes customers are angry due to Verizon's overly complicated plans and bill process.
Of course the people calling in are angry. There's obviously something wrong with their service or else they wouldn't be calling customer service for help...
Still though, I'm sad to say we live in a society full of people that are unable to separate someone trying to help them on the phone from the cause of their issue.

yeah it's a shitty job sometimes but i make more than 90% of people my age. and i work with some pretty cool cats...along with some fucking creepers.
