I'm admired 2 general of South Vietnamese Troop: LeMinhDao & TranQuangKHoi and soldiers frighted to the end of April 30 1975. About 9:00 AM, general DuongVanMInh surrendered VietCong, I don't what kind of general he was? Fuck General Minh!!
It is Gia Long Street (old name) at the NW corner of Gia Long & Hai Ba Trung. Grall Hospital is/was across Hai Ba Trung, Further South 2 bocks down Hai Ba Trung stood the old Brinks BOQ (demolished) and now land houses the Park Hyatt Hotel.
Hi Kookaburra squared: Yep, the building is 22 Gia long St. right near Tu Do. It was an apartment building that had many CIA types, including I believe, the statin chief as its tenants. (Bet the place had pretty good security, though)
The Building was called the "Pittman Apartments". Nice video. I didn't know a video existed although we have all seen the famous photo of the people climbing the ladder to the top of the elevator tower to climb on the chopper.
That is an Air America 204-B and the location is an apartment building at 22 Gia Long St..which housed many CIA types. Air America continued flying even after the marines had stopped their flights from the embassy.
@moecurlylarry1 Hi there. Semper Fi. If I recall from my time there, most of the building was occupied by USAID types although as someone else has said the CIA station chief had a place there. It was a nice building to live in.
