I'm the type of person that thinks it COULD be easy, because I grew up with a family member who quit drugs, smoking, and drinking. He just put it down and never touched it again. It depends on the type of person you are, and the circumstances. With Kurt, unfortunately, would be close to impossible in my opinion. Fame, drugs, rock n' roll, parties, ect. The moral of this story, DON'T START.

Just shows how pissed she was when Kurt died. He left her, Frances, his family, friends, and fans. All he had to do was get off the drugs and go to some therapy and the world would have been saved.
@electricmeow497 Why not? It's basically a mental thing. I have a relative that quit and never touched it again. He just told himself not to. It could be that easy if the person really wanted it to be.

@EmmyGurl523 I must say it's not that easy at all! do you know what it feels like to have a raging habit & then go into withdrawal? it makes you wish someone would just shoot you in the head,yes,its that bad. Your emotions & feelings have been numbed for so long & then suddenly they flood back stronger then ever,you're so ill you can't walk & the mental anguish is horrendous too,you just want to die, this lasts for months & months & years after you're technically detoxed, its awful.

I was never on hard stuff but Alcohol withdrawal is pretty bad itself. You want to crawl in a corner and die. Sweating, shaking, vomiting, nauseousness, the feeling like you're going to pass out, the feeling you're going to die, Seizures. I had to go to a hospital. NOT EASY TO DEAL WITH
@AngelVomit26 I agree. I've withdrawn from prescription meds for psychosis like Lithium and Geodon. That shit is heavier than a lot of people realize and I was on it for 10 years. It is the worst feeling in the world, nausea, throwing up, night sweats, no sleep for 2 days straight, dreaming freaky ass vivid stuff, waking up in the middle of the night screaming and your heart is beating a thousand miles an hour. I cant imagine what heroin is like, nor do I want to know...
@EmmyGurl523 It's very easy to say that he could just have gone to rehab and everyting would have been saved, but you cant assume that he would live today if he'd gone to rehab and therapy. He was very very depressed and when you're THAT down and a drugaddict, there is not much left to do but take the gun and shoot your head off. Not saying that killing himself was the right thing to do, not at all, but it's wrong to say that he would be alive and happy today if he'd gone to rehab.
