Heh, guess I'm in the wrong crowd here. Give me a well thought-out hybrid game, between ArmA II and GTA IV, and I would be happier than a pig in shit.

There are some crazy wacko's out there, such as myself, whom enjoy realism, even excessive realism. bleeding/bandaging, shooting holes in enemy gas tank to cause vehicle to run dry, BALLISTICS, carrying capacity, car trunk storage; anything you can think of.

In GTA V? Definitely not! But maybe someday I'll get my dream simulator =)

@OneVerce Of course its got to be fun for each player, but to some people playing a flight simulator like FSX is a lot of fun.

And I'm not saying I think GTA should be too realistic, and I'll be buying it for sure regardless; I would just love to play a game similar to the GTA series that has a heavy focus on realism, but maybe an option for more 'simulator-ish' gameplay experience would be cool.

I'm confused. I hear things that it is based in San Andreas, and also things that it is based in Los Santos. So are we having one city from the three in the San Andreas area? @KevinJRattman Really? Shame. As I was hoping for all of San Andreas back. I really hope the reason is that maybe the discs and platforms wouldn't be able to handle a big high-graphiced San Andreas and not them just being lazy to include it. Because we had the package before, and now it feels like a smaller package. Personally I would have wanted just a new city than only Los Santos because it does feel as if we are missing out on going over a long bridge to San Ventura or going to Area 69.

@KevinJRattman Putting the rumour aside that they may return with DLC (which would be awesome). How could they create the biggest GTA map with just Los Santos? San Andreas had the biggest map and that had LS and the 2 other cities. If they are going to take those two cities away (won't fully know until info is out) then how could it still be the biggest map? Unless they are creating another side of San Andrews maybe? To the right of Los Santos? Stuff we didn't see in San Andreas before maybe?

I hope at some point there is a GTA title with a 'realism' or "more realistic" mode. I'm sure many people would find it boring or annoying, but I *want* cops to chase me for running a red light, and If I comply, I just get a ticket, unless I have a warrant; that sort of thing.

Firearm ballistics, filling up the gas tank, need for food/water/sleep, no more cops forgetting who you are just because you drove 200 meters down the road.

Most of you don't want these things, but I can dream =P

Sounds nice, but then it would be too complicated and annoying. Running from cops by doing a mistake, you're annoyed, gotta get away, jack a car, near empty gas tank. Well... shit.

@Nexumen Really I just wish there was an *option* to play the game that way; a "hardcore" mode, if you will. The realism I had in mind would mean the cops would simply ticket you for running a light or speeding, if you pull over and have no warrants, of course. An extra challenge, and perhaps an incentive to avoid identification when doing something illicit.

And while, yes I suppose I could take my .40 out, jack cars and shoot pedestrians, but I enjoy not being in jail too much for that. :)
