I remember when I picked up Daft Punk Alive 2007 at the music store. I grabbed it by mistake thinking it was another album of theirs and once I popped that CD in I realized I got something better.

This is the best song on the CD. And even friends of mine who had never really listened to Daft Punk thought it was an awesome song as well.

Just on note for the people who are questioning the sequencing and timing of the gig.... The entire set list is completely fixed for every single show, same as the lights, there the exact same every single gig, the only differences are the little bits of mixing and scratching. So personally i think they do have control over the entire music, but there basically do the exact same over every single concert. However there still complete geniuses and have my utter respect, long live daft punk!

I personally think, they are sequencing and mixing all of their songs in the almighty pyramid. There are probably very few instruments for actual live play. They are not playing their songs live, they are just mixing them. Probably the best mixers on the face of the earth. They probaby have some control of the lights, when changing songs and such, but I'm sure the rest is computer generated.

Daft Punk rock, but seriously, DJ's need to get that chip off their fucking shoulder. They're musicians, but generally they don't do much actual "performing". They're not playing instruments. They're not singing. They're choosing the right songs and mixing them right. Does it take skill? Sure. But it's not a performance. Get over it.

but surely they arent in control of everything. bangalter said they can only go hands on with the music within set cue points, does this mean the rest of the time they just let the show play itself? the music has to sync in perfectly with the lights which would mean they wouldnet have the freedom to control the songs directly. i dont think DP are actually playing up there, its pre-recorded music and all they do is fiddle with equalizers as it gets broadcasted.
