Mushroom Hunting - Woodland Wanders -- Our Ohio show 416

I look on North side of hills, around Elm trees & May Apples & around downed decaying trees. Rain & warm weather help out a lot. Sometimes near rocky sandy soil type areas. Oh, cut them off at the base w/ a clean sharp knife & use a mesh bag to drop spores.

you are sooooooo right!!!you never know!!!those spikes are half free morels.i always find mushrooms!!!!i wont go home until i do!!!!LOL ive got tears in my eyes thinking about these damn mushrooms!!!!im addicted!!!gotta go!!!!

i know that there are poisonious mushrooms in ohio. i live in johnstown and found some fly arg. are there anying shrooms thats i should watch out for.
