Hey A1 there is a reason for that. One ambulance is on Harvard Street to help extricate the woman trapped. As this was a Mass Casualty Incident the remaining ambulances staged on the next street over. Patients were triaged and then moved to a treatment area (an alley between the two streets) prior to being loaded into the waiting ambulances. Common sense says that we would not want to put the ambulances in the middle of that scene to become contaminated with smoke or blocked by other apparatus
I had the awesome and humbling pleasure of meeting and sitting with this woman - who had been in the car - recently. I felt like I had met a miracle. She is wonderful, still healing, doing well. Do keep her in your prayers, please, and in your positive thoughts. She is a deep inspiration to me.
I know a family who is very dear friends with the woman trapped in that car. I hope that everyone watching this movie prays for her or holds her in the Light or interacts with their higher power in *some* way on her behalf. This isn't just a cool video, these are people's lives.

i know right it was horrible, i was there in magic beans at the time and it took an hour and a half for me to get home when it normally takes ten minute but they blocked off everything
Unless you know what is burning, you won't know what type of fire extinguisher to use. Remember, even if you have an ABC extinguisher, there could be something that will explode or produce highly toxic smoke
It is highly recommended by fire prevention experts that you get hands-on training before operating a fire extinguisher. Most local fire departments offer this service.
A typical fire extinguisher contains 10 seconds of extinguishing power. This could be less if it has already been partially discharged. Always read the instructions that come with the fire extinguisher beforehand and become familiarized with its parts.
What a stupid idiot.. Using a fire extinguisher that far away from the fire does not do a damn thing!!! I guess he never worked in a building that does routine fire training with employees.
believe it or not, i found out last night that the gentleman with the fire extinguisher is my rabbi. in fact he is not a "stupid idiot" as you call him. i heard from friends that he was the first person to take action.
For there being so many witnesses present, there is still a lot of confusion about what happened. I just read a report claiming that the vehicle which was on fire had flipped over several times, which is untrue. It went into the air and then hit the ground on its side, but it never made any complete rotations, let alone several.

I used to live in that neighborhood, before cell phones and video cameras and computers. And coffee shops!!! Excellent footage, btw.
Did the networks pay you for your work? They should have. What kind of cell phone gets that level of quality?
Good job.
