As much as I disagree with Palin on politics I could never bring myself to have no sympathy for this because: 1. Her kids were there, which is an acceptable defense in this case as there was no speech or comment or whatever. It was just a harmless appearance. 2. Sports fanatics, especially hockey fans (in my experience), are generally too ignorant of politics and world events to have respectable opinions.
