they're both incredible! Metallica's music kinda fell off with load through st. anger, but they were experimenting musically, and unfortunately, PEOPLE DON'T GET THAT. Death Magnetic was a great return to their original styling, while adding some new concepts. Megadeth still remains fresh musically, but Dave keeps replacing people so it's almost like it's a different band. it'd be really awesome if they toured TOGETHER, so people need to stop arguing that one is better than the other

To be honest, I've really got no idea why I cannot listen to Megadeth. It's something people always bug me about. I've tried to listen to Megadeth so many times, and every time I listen to a Megadeth song I have an overwhelming feeling of "I just wanna skip this". Since '03 Megadeth has had 5 good songs- Back in the day, Kick The Chair, Blackmail the Universe, Sleepwalker, and Washington is Next. Metallica has had zero.

To be honest, I've really got no idea why I cannot listen to Megadeth. It's something people always bug me about. I've tried to listen to Megadeth so many times, and every time I listen to a Megadeth song I have an overwhelming feeling of "I just wanna skip this". I don't throw them off as a horrible band, I respect what they can do and I know they're by no means a horrible band from any standpoint really, but I just can't listen to them.

Since '03 Megadeth has had 5 good songs- Back in the day, Kick The Chair, Blackmail the Universe, Sleepwalker, and Washington is Next. Metallica has had zero.
But, almost every metallica song prior to Load was good. During the 90's, I think I'd rate Megadeth higher. In the 80's however, Deth couldn't touch Metallica with a 20-metre pole.
I am a megadeth fan, however I'm a bigger tallica fan. They're two bands with completely different sounds and musicians, and they're both dope!

Metallica hasnt let anything good out since Justice. Since hetfield changed singing style, sounds boring & awful. Kirks riffs have no creativity or complexity anymore. Dave creates better rhythm and solos. His lyrics are more intelligent and meaningful. His voice has much more character to it. Listen: High Speed Dirt.
