  • @PierceScan, this is very cool.

I am also a big fan of the police scanner.

I'd love to see if our communications supervisor would let me talk on the radio for a bit one day.

Also, not making fun of you or anything, I'd never do that to anyone, however, I also listen to our local railroad frequency. I have to say, you sound very simmilar to train dispatcher KML.

Have you ever tried out for a train dispatching job at the UP Hariman dispatch center?

  • I'm guessing the time between these transmissions is speed up, cause I don't know any town or city that has that much radio traffic...lol.

  • my recorder only records when the button is pressed. the radio traffic on this channel is moderate..

  • O, thanks... :)

  • some people should not comment on the things they do not know.. Mdc means exactly what the man says!! Mobile data computer. I would love to dispatch for my area (pierce county sheriff)

  • With the Hooters, thanks for dropping by. If I ever need help, I know who to call (911)

  • Nice work. LESA is always hiring. Sounds like you got the knack for it.

  • @jefftempleton102 Thanks.

  • what exactly does last call mdc mean??? does that just mean they're taking their last call before going off duty???

  • look at my comment below....

  • no it does not it means Mobile Data Comp.

  • yes it does dude.

  • Great job!!!

  • What are the units saying at the end of their transmission, MDC or NDC or similar? And what does that mean? Excuse my ignorance.

  • Thanks for the question. We are saying MDC which stands for Mobile Data Computer. It's basically saying that the details ore on the computer on the car and it also states that the unit has a mdc

  • Great work!! That was some pretty constant activity. You did really well.

  • You really did a good job that night. It's obvious you pay attention to what's going on and I highly encourage you to apply for the position. You're welcome to sit with me and get on the air again. Good job, L!!
