I'm not a huge Nebraska fan, but that team was probably the best college football team to ever take the field. Coach Osborne was a CLASS act.

@cochra07 Thanks man.......I think the coolest part is that we followed the rules; meaning that our team/program never got in trouble with the NCAA.......and believe me we were under the microscope of everyone looking for something we did wrong a some rule we violated........like Christian Peter said, "when you're up here, everyone's trying to take the cheap shots at you"......

@mfaded May have been.....one will never know. We did all pass our piss tests from the NCAA. Get a group of 60 guys with loads of talent that are all this intense on game day and few teams will ever touch you.....there are reasons/excuses (illness and luck mostly) in 1996 for the loss in Tempe and against TX but.....we lost; period. Had we not, think though of being 50-0 in Div. IA college football. Instead we went a measly 48-2......oh well, still a record that only 19 other guys have.

@TheSchildkrote Thanks man.....There was a remodel project several years ago and everything (training room, weight room, locker room, coaches offices, etc. was moved to the north stadium side.........the money came from the National Championship bowl games that paid 30-40 million dollars per game in the 90's.......it was another loss of tradition.....in my opinion the new facility is intimidating to recruits which may have contributed to down-fall of Husker FB......
