You can hear the sleigh Bells anytime you want , you just have to believe that there is good and kindness , Santa is real and he makes his rounds all through the year. When you look into your children's faces it will remind you of the sound of the sleigh bells.. I hear them all the time and every year.. life is to short to be angry and upset at the mess we humans make some times.
This music is so heart wrenching to me. It represents the heartbreak of childhood into adulthood. But at the end of the song, when the tinker toy piano is playing; I think of my own children, and see them witness the magic of Christmas. Like on the movie "Polar Express" I just don't hear the sleigh bell anymore.
Its not a heartbreak you hear or are reminded of ,, it the unconditional love and goodness that we all hold back from showing , this song brings it out and it can be hard to handle it strikes our heart strings and makes them sing with joy and love.
