Not too fond of AR-15's without stocks, they look weird. The buffer tube is still there, so it doesn't alter it's clearance by that much. To each their own I suppose.

I really like that pouch though, and the caliber conversion was pretty damn nifty.

@0neDoomedSpaceMarine Check out the Rock River Arms PDS Pistol then. It's more expensive than your typical AR-15 pistol, but it doesn't have the buffer tube (on account of it being a Piston Driven System), so it's a pistol in truth while still firing the 5.56 round.

This thing has a railmount in place of a stock, I've never seen anything like that before. Can the upper be mounted on a select fire lower, or is the standard lower specific to that upper in particular?

@0neDoomedSpaceMarine On a strictly technical point, I believe so, since RRA sells in house lowers that could be fitted to it (in fact, I toyed around with the idea of doing just that and registering it as an SBR before deciding on the Kel-Tec PLR for the same purpose; it may be ugly as hell, but I've heard it's really reliable and it's about 1/3 the price). However, I have no idea of the process of registering a select fire weapon as a civilian other than it probably costs a lot of money.

Besides old (almost antique if not antique) pistols the only bayonet for a pistol I've seen are those dinky ones for Glocks, unless they also work for any pistol with an on frame, under barrel tac-mount. Granted, this is an AKM bakelite bayonet; originally intended for the AKM/Ak-74, it goes great with this pistol, and is by far the only one I've seen that doesn't make the gun look tactacool or completely unnecessary. Too bad Dracos don't have lugs.

In Call of duty black ops the original M16 is (in the game) three round burst and it takes about 0.25 seconds to get that off with lots of delay time I also didn't mention that it takes at least six 5.56 rounds in somebodies chest to kill them all I need to say oh and the AK-47 and AK-74U are very very close to M16's accuracy and I think the AK's fire faster according all to COD and you can jump about 2 feet in the air with a 200round mag on a M60 any other questions about how realistic COD is?

I don't believe so it wouldn't affect it like in video games but you might be able to get just barely more power out of it wouldn't be rifled or anything so I don't believe a suppressor would affect a gun with a sufficiently sized barrel for the round I don't know though I'm not a gun guy

The AR pistol is easily twice as much as the AK, also, the 5.56 out of a barrel that short is not going to tumble properly and probly will be like shooting someone with a HV .22 ... the 7.62 is going to hit hard as hell regardless of barrel length. However I've really only encountered one valid working example (The AUG) all the others are more gimmick than useful IMO

Now IMO the bullpup AK mods are junk.. and the 'real' AK bullpup from china is as rare as any AK can get.. so good luck finding one, or getting spare parts

@GunWebsites Its best just to build one from the ground up, since an AK bullpup from China (or better from the Eastern Block) can be expensive and the mod-kits are indeed junk, as you said. The F2000 is also another good bullpup, one highly underestimated. I'm still building a custom AK bullpup, for sake of adding a barrel of proper length for the 7.62x39mm round, of which the 16" is just inadequate to get the proper velocity to keep the round flying flat.
