  • @olivervisanjoux Nothing 'burns' fat, the concept behind losing weight is calories in < calories out, meaning if you eat more calories then you require in a day, you will put on weight. If you eat less, you will lose weight.

  • XP i understand the last thing you want to do after heavy lifting or first thing in the morning is cook a fancy meal but i love how all of the high protein or bodybuilding meals consist of: OATS!! or dump can of tuna into can of beans/ pouch of precooked brown rice- consume. (i'm guilty of it too)

  • You just take 25grams of protein only! If your want to be a serious body builder add 10 eggs whites and 2 whole eggs, so you take 50grams protein. 100grams oats can give you 70-75grams of carbs

  • If you get 25g per meal this means you need at least 8 meals a day, to get 200 grams of protein. This is close to impossible as you would have to eat 24/7 (1 meal every three hours). If you get 40-50g of casein and whey mixed your organism should metabolise it just fine. However, if you get 40-50g of whey protein then i will have to agree with you. Or maybe not, as excessive protein intake becomes FAT not urine :p

  • I've been using this recipe for about a year and I can tell that this is absolutely delicious! I plus add salt, pepper, garlic, dill, chives, cumin, chili and paprika cream. A perfect meal for anybody!

  • This is a simple and creative idea. I can't afford to eat 5 eggs a day or buy Healthy Choice soup, so I buy regular canned soup and only use half of the can and add oats and milk or water and bump up the flavor with spices.

This is ideal for bodybuilders (oatmeal and YES 1-2 whole eggs + whites for staples) AND avg people too can enjoy (Just add more egg whites and top with raw organic honey and it tastes awesome). Sorry it's not bacon, buttermilk pancakes, and cheese-eggs! LOL! You see, research has proven again and again eggs help GOOD cholesterol...Avg. sedentary person can eat 1, athletes can eat 2, bodybuilders even eat 3-4 off-season. Go organic though!

  • @talkingwisdom it's more of a breakfast thing, or pre workout due to the oats are slow digesting so they will keep you fueled for longer. i personally love oats and never miss a chance to eat them.

  • quick, simple and got all the nutrients - I do however skip the yolk and add 10whites since that equals around 40g of protein. And, I recommend blending it all with electric blender before cooking. one might add some walnuts, pumpkin seeds, flax, sunflower seeds, raisins, dates to the mix. Best tastes topped with crunchy peanut b. and espresso - perfect breakie.

    1/2 cup fat free cottage cheese

    5 egg whites. Blend well and pour batter in pan like a pancake. Top it off with 1/2 cup sugar free syrup and you have a nutritious meal. Bout 360 calories, 40 carbs and 42 protein.

    Banana, walnuts and smooth peanut butter - (blended before added)

    Blueberries, Raspberries, strawberries and blackberries with a little fresh vanilla for a summer- like flavour.

  • If you're keen, whack blueberries or strawberries into the mix if you're having this in the morning - makes for a lot more taste and the antioxidants and vitamins are a massive bonus. Never eat a meal that doesn't have colour i.e. veges or fruit...they tell me :) Good luck!
