Complete honesty isn't how the political game is played. Ron Paul has been honest and fights for "the people", with little results. Not only that but the average American doesn't truly understand what Ron Paul or Peter Schiff talks about. It is sad to say but it is true and I was born in the U.S.A. People will believe what they want to believe regardless of the facts!
You hit the nail on the head square on. Most people these days are scared of the truth and only hear what they want to hear. The gov't puts a positive spin on things which the sheeple fall all over. I don't blame the gov't for this as you need to keep up moral but there comes a time when the reality of the situation has to be laid out for the people to see. If the gov't doesn't tell and the sheeple ignore the truth then there is only one outcome here and it's not a good one.
I disagree.....you don't need a lot of polititcal money for your campaign.....you tackle the economy logically and intelligently. You are well known....you will gain your seat fairly easy...money is not everything...your message is. good luck.
