  • MASTER YOUR CHI

  • my name's Gaia ^-^

  • i thought gaia was porn from the way i saw things.

  • People are so gullible to believe this crap. They are mixing apples and oranges and creating a rare blend of tomato soup...horse crap!

  • @Masada2013 Lose you're ego, open your mind, see the light.

  • People are so gullible to believe this crap.

  • was the creepy ass blonde 3d terribly done model necessary?

  • Don't quantify! We don't need four planets. Us arrogant primates need to get on intimate terms with the flora and fauna and live truly connected even to the use of plant and fungi hallucinogens. That is what I have found is a common effect of plant fungi derivatives like LSD: a deep embrace of life and happiness in experiencing it. Americans must either change its ways soon or fail.

  • Super ! ! ! ... Yes! All is One!

  • Forgive them mother for they know not what they do to us...

  • If Earth is a living organism, then the universe is her mother!

  • Gaia is a load of crap. The Earth doesn't always heal itself. Sometimes it causes it's own death and rebirth. Chemists don't have the answers, Geologist do!!

  • /watch?v=4Z9WVZddH9w

Watch this documentary ¨ZEITGEIST MOVING FORWARD¨

Pass it on and join the movement.

  • The earth is one organism.. we call it nature... what makes me sick about these people is they think somehow they are gods walking on the earth. we are part of that organism and everything we do is controlled by it.. everything we 'all' do that is. some organisms have malfunctioned and try to control the rest of nature to save themselves. it wont happen.. nature has its way and always will

  • dude how old is this video!!!??? waiting for armageddon? the earth being a force to be subdued? K.. i dont know anyone how thinks the earth needs to be subdued by humans? lol

  • @goblinondrums I think you're taking some things to literally.

  • The Dare Island Enigma is a novel concerning the Gaia Hypothesis see video book trailer

  • wow she's so hot....is she Anunnaki?

  • @boboso74 no she is a animation, the annuaki are not so...."hot"

A date could be possible though in the future, it just depends on how fast our technology goes......

if you know what I mean

  • this is amazing... i have just came across the gaia theory... and i have spent nearly 4 hours reading and watching videos about it... it just makes so much sens to me..... the gaia theory is 100% true in my mind and i think il be a true believer for a very long time :?) James lovelock is a genius

  • GLAD TO HEAR IT! keep it up

  • I believe this 100%

    )O(

  • huh?I THOUGHT GAIA WAS A GAME!

  • come on 9cphacs this isnt a game....GAIA IS FOR REAL do some reasearch

have you seen or played assassins creed? its a game based on "some" facts (no bullshit)

  • Circle Round )0(

  • The universe is a living cell

our sun is alive as well

  • @MrLesWhite,

    finally someone gets it! :))

  • Interesting work. If there is a Gaia, would a sincere apology help?

  • If life came to earth from other planets (as fungal spores carried on meteores, for instance), then 'gaia' can reproduce itself.

And if we can go into outer space and reproduce biotopes on other planets, then again 'gaia' can reproduce itself.

    Just a thought.

  • This is definitely true! I can give many examples and reasons, theories, for why I believe this. Mother Earth baby!

  • What's with the CGI chick?

  • Not quite a Pointless Religion.

  • Why is sexy in the tags?

  • i call dibs on mars

  • The camera should have panned down more on the narrator.

  • why youtube dont promote videos like this? come on youtube what the fuck is wrong with you? people need to know a lot of shit!! not just fucken justin biber....

  • @defton24 no money in it. Capitalist theory reigns supreme, look out for number one, take all u can while u can and damn the consequences. People aren't ready to give a shit, its just too damn inconvenient...until it directly effects them, only then will they take notice, but probably by then its too late. If u want to know how truly stupid people are look up Easter Island, the Rapa Nui, the story of how they wiped themselves out should be a warning to all of us about our nature

  • Why do you need an avatar? It takes away from the importance of the content.

  • Gaia is gay man

  • this is interesting, i have always felt a connection to the earth, something i couldnt explain.

i would like this hypothesis to be true, maybe one day it will be proved to be

  • wtf is this im looking for a game and i get this shit

  • Maybe you made a mistake when you were trying to type Gay Hippo feces

  • @AboutEnergy no i was looking for a game named gaia

  • Barbie narrator, wow good animated, looks like she talks real XD keeding, good video, but I dont understand... Does it means God didnt create the Earth?

  • interesting.. Gaia info... could do without the lame barbie doll narrator.

  • Thank you so much! this made this whole Gia thing better and clear along with my understanding of Daisy world and why is it related to Gia. Thank again

  • you only have to take a look around to see that the planet is alive, man im such a hippy.lol.

  • I would have to disagree that gaia (earth itself) is a living organism that actively maintains temperature/chemical reactions/and life. It's more that physics can result in life.

  • cool idea

  • I don't think there is life in other planets in this solar, I think where the ones suppose to populate the solar system. Thats why we need to cut the bullshit get our shit together and start developing for real

  • yer first thing we gotta do though is get rid of money... thats the root of all evil

  • @TheDevineSpirit what does this have to do with the gaia theory?

  • @Statistic100 If you mean money I strongly suggest you watch a film called zeitgeist addendum. Type it into google and it will come up.

  • @TheDevineSpirit Could not agree more. It totally encourages us to pull resources from the earth endlessly regardless of its usefullness to sustain and enhance life. Are you faniliar with the venus project?

  • @TheDevineSpirit

Money is not the root of all evil, money is simply a medium for exchanging goods and services. Humanity's yearning for power and control is the root cause of humanity's problems, not money.

  • @TheDevineSpirit Money - A medium that can be exchanged for goods and services. Never will money be gone, because money isn't just dollar bills.

  • @TheDevineSpirit uh....?? the LOVE of money is the root of all evil. please get the truth right.

  • @goblinondrums uh....?? the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. That is the quote.

  • @0HippyHunter0 yeah think I was already frustrated that she got the quote wrong and quote wrong myself. lol. Stand corrected. Thanks!

  • @goblinondrums we wouldnt have a love for money, if we didnt have money

  • It is actually the lack of money that is the root cause of all evils. You steal only when u don't have something (namely resources). If you have money you have the ability to buy resources and live happily, there by reducing the evils in society.

  • @TheDevineSpirit money are not evil, people are.

  • @TheDevineSpirit No Sir, it is religion. The first and hardest step in believing this theory is the elimination of anthropomorphic dieties 90% of mankind revere as god/s.

  • I would have liked to see the actual narrator some or most of the time, instead of the CG woman narrator. Other than that, well done.

  • What a really great video. I'll be making frequent links to this. It is the most concise and entertaining description I have found to date on this subject. Bravo!

  • I have to admit, you've kind of got me there... though your diminished 'i' (ego) and generally poor English, that logically follows from that, suggests that your reply is a lot more amusing (and simultaneously tragic) than you may ever care (regrettably) to know.

I hope I'm wrong and not merely arrogant.

  • Phytoplankton is responsible for absorbing 90% of the Earth's carbon dioxide. It is also a valuable food source for many types of animals, including krill and fish. There is also another theory that suggests Earth became chemically unstable when another planet collided with it, tilting Earth's axis and causing seasons.

  • Gaia is a mythical Greek Godess..or didnt you see the beginning of the video..idiot's

  • Gaia literally translates to the word Earth... so i guess your house is sat on a Greek god huh..

  • yea

  • 1:45 "Thus, life is present"

    Prove it!

  • arent you a proof of life on earth?

  • oh yeah... I suppose so... ergo sum to that.

  • haha i didnt actualy think that would work

thought you were bein sarcastic or ironics or somethin

  • Live is present on Earth, that was what she said.

While Earth atmosphere is a unstable mixture of many gases.

  • Gaia is not making the scarcity we see today. Lack of education and the profit system are.

    thezeitgeistmovement(dot)com/

  • Humans have no problem assuming the plant and animal world consist of species interacting within their environment.

However, when it comes to self-reflection we as a species feel ourselves strangely immune from this natural process.

What if this is immunity is an illusion?

What if the biosphere is an organized entity that manipulates its component parts to its own end, as does every other living entity on Earth? What if this repeats itself throughout the Universe?

  • One major volcano eruption (St. Helens) throws

out more CO2 than man can ever do in a million generations at our current population.

  • Please, if you are going to make such bold statement you should at least provide the source of your statement!

Oh yeah, and it has to be a peer review article, anything else wont be adequate.

  • As a matter of fact you can compare humanity to an active vulcano throwing CO2 in atmosphere non-stop since 1700.

Please, don't come saying your shit theories without doing a long search before.

  • Volcano's have been know to wipe out the planet in one single eruption. Never knew humans or any species have ever wiped out a planet. The earth has been going through NATURAL cycles for eons before man. The green movement is sadly being exploited and is a big political money grab and YOU will pay taxes on a host of products to come. You will see. Oh, LOL... the title of this video has the word hypothesis in it. Go look up the word hypotesis you crazy FEAR MONGER!
  • You stupid motherfucker,

Earth is our planet as a planet

Gaia is our planet as a living being

Go read about James Lovelock's Gaia Hypotesis and stop shiting around about that.

Saving the planet from ourselfs is about non-consummerism culture, please stop saying shit about green movement, before I vomit. If you will pay taxes on a host of products its your choice, noy mine!

The base of the hypotesis is that humans race is killing the planet, and this is no less than FACT.

  • Considering that we've been on this planet for a mere 200,000 years out of its 4,500,000,000 year history, I wouldn't say we're incapable of dramatically changing the planet, we just haven't done it YET! Watch "An Inconvenient Truth", it explains how Climate Change is NOT cyclical better than I ever could. Would rather pay more taxes than have billions of living creatures (including ourselves) dead or extinct or my home under 100 feet of water to be honest.

  • or that red blood cell looking stuff that fell from India's skies over the last few years that survives quite nicely in sub-zero or in heat in the three digit range, duplicating itself w/o any visible DNA! Truth is... science doesn't know squat about what's possible because they're too busy trying to fit the universe into their nice little boxes. Time to go listen to nature!

  • Furthermore, who says there's no life on the larger, gas planets? Maybe not life as we know it or understand it, but it's clear that life forms can exist quite well in very inhospitable environments; just look at the deep ocean life that exists in and around ocean floor volcanoes, or bacteria that exists in purely acidic environments,

  • Can't even finish watching the video because of how absurd looking the 'host' is. Good grief, give us a freaking break. Yeah, the Earth is alive - duh! I don't need a scientist to prove it to me, i can feel it in my bones when i'm out in the forest.

  • the host is freaky....

  • She's saying, "Recycle or the earth will recycle you!" Sounds like a good idea to me.

  • lool

  • so the planets alive?

  • Ah Gaia the original "Mother Nature" People will work togeather with self regulation as a "Mass Human Gaia"

Man is after all part of Life on Earth.

  • A top scientist recently stated that with the amount of people now alive, we need four earths...the earth, the moon, mars and a space colony...

  • @chippro no we dont four earths, we just need people to not be so damn consumerous and learn how to be self sufficient .

  • @chippro political ideologies is about the control of resources and labor. that's all they really are. it's not impossible, just difficult, but one day we may find a means to work responsibly to both help each other, the earth, and advance in equilibrium and then allow us to spread to other planets. sure, there have and are some bad times ahead and poor choices, but we'll learn even if it's painful and move forward. a fool's hope, perhaps, but hope nonetheless.

  • @chippro yep it's almost right..... they calculated that for every "west country"....

i live in Switzerland and they said just swiss ppl must have 2 planets to keep this lifestyle............ and we are one of the lowest "west country"........................................

  • @Panz82 It's because Switzerland doesn't produce any of the raw materials such as Uranium or Oil. You use the resources of countries like Canada to power your cities!

  • @bubbalutz

power in Switzerland is produced 60% by hydroelectrical and other is nuclear

  • @bubbalutz we do not burn anything :P we just use other countries uranium :P

  • @chippro

That's generally what footprint calculators say, anyways. Please remember that that figure is HUGELY determined by our lifestyles, though.

  • Where is that space colony anyway?

  • @chippro we clearly don't need four Earths, as here we all are surviving on one; that wouldn't be able to happen if that statement was true.

  • Great vid, but the ending kinda spoiled it. Some people would probably take that as an excuse to continue killing the Earth because apparently we can just move onto another planet. To me, it seems unlikely that humanity would kill this amazing beautiful planet and then create some sort of eden style paradise on another. What do you guys think? I think the Earth will simply cleanse us before we reach that stage or humanity will kill itself as it is currently doin. In my opinion, of course =)

  • nice hypothesis, i like the idea of MEP directing evolution.

It is fascinating to think it might have collective-consciousness (can anyone scientifically prove what consciousness is??). e.g. consider the information bandwidth of all those DNA strands moving around the globe, sped up into a human lifespan.. If these were like threads or messages in some computer, you could say it's a computer 'intelligent' enough to 'design' each component species..

  • What is consciousness? An entity is conscious if it is like something to be that entity. We may be quite unable to imagine what it is like but if it is like anything at all to be that entity, then it is conscious. It may not be able to think, it may be utterly unlike ourselves, but if it is like something to be that entity, if it exists 'from the inside' as it were, then it is conscious.

  • I like your use of Bryce graphics.

  • The Hypothesis itself makes logical sense. But I hope people don't take this the wrong way and think the earth is a "conscious" being

  • its a nice video. but it also seems like an ad at the end. What makes us think we have the right to just go and screw up another planet when we couldn't take care of this one? Do I have so much faith in humanity that we wouldn't screw it up in some form or another? No. The solar system isnt finders keepers

  • just reading his books ! awesome...

christianism ? so what ? Gaia will still be alive, even if we're gone.... life happens where it's possible, what a gift !

  • Interesting concept.

I love how one of the tags of this vid is "sexy".

  • So what does this organism eat? What will happen to us if "it" breeds? I think if you take religeous puplpit pilots out of the picture, you might find the agricultural laws in the scripture actually encourage sound ecology. The god of the bible gets really pissed when man squanders his creation. Then again, if you think a bunch of old guys made it all up, you won't care either. Guess everyone gets to have fun with thier beliefs.Funny how the cgi is white, I thought whites were "evil".

  • Good one Chipro! It's really something how the science of GAIA has spawned inquiry into the Spirit of GAIA! Good science, good spirit; the cognitive dissonance of ecological alienation holds within the seeds of healing. Cheers!

  • good job 5/5

  • how beautiful!!! what a great view on gaia

  • content except for the end is good. Not sure about the naked blond cyborg. Whats up with her?

  • Yes, liked the vid, but the naked blond cyborg is seriously weird. Should have been a brown tree lady with green leaf hair or something. ;)

  • interesting

  • enlightening

  • Truth. I learned it from the herb.

  • Great video. Thank you for uploading it!

  • James is my grandad! Im Rebecca Lovelock!

  • Rebecaa? Really? I am trying to reach your grand-dad by email in the UK, but cannot find him. I want to tell him about my concept of polar cities in the future to house survivors of glo war. can you ask hinm to email me or email me at danbloom AT gmail dot COM

  • I would like to interview him for my new documentary. Is he available? How do I contact him? Thanks Chippro @ gaiaselene dot com

  • @Tariro1993 marry me

  • @Tariro1993 your grandad is a very intuitive and intelligent man, regards to him and yourself

  • @Tariro1993 Hi Rebecca, Love is Love forever!!

  • We're the sperm... Interesting concept.

  • more interesting... what happened to the the sperm that made us?

  • I imagine they're still watching. ;)
