Look, I'm not saying that she sounds bad, she sounds good, but waht you've said is irrelevant. Why? A trained singer doesn't get his/her vocals abused during a tour. I went to the last leg of Beyoncé's tour and she sounded perfect. Madonna's vocals weren't abused, as she's a singer. Oh and what about Britney, she actually doesn't mimes, she sings with the backing track. And miming, using backing tracks doesn't prove that the singer can't sing.

I absolutely don't want her to lipsynch, I'm a big Madonna fan, I've been to S&S tour in Rome and Milan, she sings live, and she can sing good. I was only saying that I don't like this one, even to avoid that someone could say, as always, "Madonna can't sing"! But I understand that she was tired, she had already made a lot of concerts...so I wasn't critisizing her, she's a goddess to me :)
Please watch the Virgin Tour, Drowned World Tour, and her 1990 Oscar "Sooner or Later" performance! I think these "Hard Candy" songs are not really for her key... too bad...

well, of course not. it's a pop concert, and it's music, so the voice is going to be a part of it. but madonna, even from the beginning of her career, simply had a capable voice. nothing more, nothing less. that being said though, if you wanna see some terrific singing from madonna, check out Frozen and Lament from the Re-Invention tour. and for the record, i loved the setlist for this show. :-) but, i am one of the few who liked the hard candy album.

Madonna pode ter curtido mais os shows de SP, mas ficou no RJ até o último minuto possível, antes de ir para o show de SP, e seus filhos ficaram aqui até o dia 21.
Realmente, o show de SP foi muito melhor. Madonna se encantou com o público paulista e com a cidade. Até disse: "que lugar maravilhoso para encerrar a turnê com chave de ouro".

well, of course dude, madonna isn't perfect. no one is. we all have our flaws. all i'm saying is that madonna has NEVER been about her voice. the only time madonna has had an exceptional voice was during the re-invention tour, but she toned down her dancing appropriately for it. on Confessions, she had her highlights, but she had her weak moments as well. overall, on tour, she's been capable-but rarely has she ever been amazing vocally, save for rare exceptions.

no need for exceptional man, cuz i agree with you, her concerts are focused on other things... its just that before she could handle it and do something acceptable with her voice and something amazing with the rest... now her singing is just... WEIRD. not complaining, not at all, she IS a legend of pop, i totally agree, and it is still worth it. but it was better. can't ignore singing in a MUSICAL show. you just can't.

well, of course not. it's a pop concert, and it's music, so the voice is going to be a part of it. but madonna, even from the beginning of her career, simply had a capable voice. nothing more, nothing less. that being said though, if you wanna see some terrific singing from madonna, check out Frozen and Lament from the Re-Invention tour. and for the record, i loved the setlist for this show. :-) but, i am one of the few who liked the hard candy album.
