I'd love to see them both fight to see who'd win. Spyro has a lot of determination granted he free'd alot of dragons and recovered numerous dragon eggs. Crash has determination but only enough to get the job done regardless of the situation. After that he just falls asleep. Their both equal in their own unique way. If you took player vs player it would depend on the player not the character.

However, I'm curious to know who'd win by default.

@ANDERSONSHAUN Actually, it's N. Tropy. He was named after Entropy, a measure of chaos, randomness and disorder. Also, it's not difficult to not know him. He only had a major appearance in one game (Warped). Aside from Wrath of Cortex, where he appeared again and again but didn't have any impact on the story whatsoever, all of his other appearances were essentially guest appearances.

Crash and Spyro - Both introduced in the late 90's - Small agile creatures.

Aku Aku and Sparx - Can both be collected for more hit points

Jak and Ratchet - Both introduced in the early 2000's - Tall agile creatures.

Daxter and Clank - Sidekicks.

You could count Nathan Drake and Nathan Hale as the late 2000's characters. They are both human, both named Drake.

They were like sidekicks for awhile. Both of their studios were not far from each other and they each shared ideas between one and other. Naughty Dog gave Insominac the Jak and Daxter engine to use for Rachet and Clank.

@mrthingus well, crash was more like a sonic and mario rip off, the aku aku mask was a copy of mario's mushrooms and the invinsibility was a rip off of the star power. Notice how in the crash games there are boxes just like in mario, with the "?" symbol on them. In terms of sonic, crash is a very similar character, you collect 100 things to get an extra life and you collect gems? just like chaos emeralds? but with all those facts, I still still crash bandicoot is one of the best ps1 characters
