  • The pain The pain

  • This is excellent. Harris drops into Dr Smith with ease after so long.

  • Never fear, Smith is here!

    And will be forever.

  • WOW, that was good...Dr Smith still had it lol

  • the old time movies...the old star trek... the old lost in space...the old music....and the old time preaching of God's word was better than today

  • It seems we have 9 Neanderthal Ninnies! It is they that should be Lost In Space!

  • excellent. Was done some time ago with the original robot voice. I had a mattel set with a big styrofoam Jupiter 2, and a chariot that rolled on these odd inflated tracks. I loved it.

  • wow, dr smith really gotten old looking, but he's stell funny as hell thoe

  • Thank you!

  • Bravo!!! They lived their characters!

  • Dr. Smith (not Jonathan Harris) ruined the whole show. The best episode was when Don took Dr. Smith on a long journey in the tractor and, calling upon his duty as an officer, charged Dr. Smith with treason, then summarily executed him.

  • the end music was CLASSIC

  • welllllllllll done, that was great

  • Jonathan Harris he can jump right back into his Dr. Smith character so perfectly. Thanks for uploading this :))))))))))))))))))))))))

  • @crystalheart9 Yes, he is the only actor that I have seen that could get right back into character just as before! I watched this in1965 when the show was fresh. I was 8.

  • bloody hell ive went back in time to my childhood AGAIN........YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

  • Bravo Bravo:)

  • I take it that this was on the Sci-Fi Channel when this cable TV station lived up to its namesake.

  • He was an icon of character and his voice inflections were and still are unsurpassed; Bravo Dr. Smith; bravo I say!

  • NO TEMAIS... QUE NEMESIS ESTA AQUI...!!

    NEMESIS

  • hahahaha Smith was the best!! Thanks for that step back in time.

  • RIP Dick Tufeld. Up there with Jonathan Harris and Guy Williams.

  • Actor Dick Tufeld, who voiced the Robot on the 1960s sci-fi series Lost In Space, died January 22 at age 85 while watching the NFL playoffs. You may not know his name, but Tufeld created two of TV's most enduring pop culture catch phrases - "Danger, Will Robinson, danger" and "That does not compute."

  • Dick and John are somewhere in the heavens hobnobbin' RIP

  • How sad that Dick Tufeld died Sun. Jan. 22nd (85 y.o.). It's sad knowing that the voice that made famous "Danger Will Robinson" & "That does not compute" is not around anymore. RIP Robot. 2:03 am 1-25-12

  • Harris really made the show! Without him i predict it would have not lasted 1 season

  • They should never do a remake of this show! You cannot improve on perfection. Brings back memories when i watched first run as a kid

  • I miss this show so much. I grew up with this show.

  • Can anyone chew up scenery and spit it out better than Jonathan Harris? So much for the "Special Guest Star" he was supposed to be.

  • Great LIS cliffhanger music!

  • Did they make lost a space in short time back in the 1980's featuring bill mummy and jonathon harris?

  • My favorite Smithism....."Get away from me, you Ferrous Frankenstein!"

  • I used to draw this robot's picture in my school scribbler in elem. school in the early 1970s.

  • In response to the post that Batman ran Lost in Space off the air: It is my understanding that LIS won the ratings war with Batman. What prevented a 4th season was that absurd Vegetable Planet episode in season 3 and Irwin Allen's insistence on incorporating a talking Llama named Willoughby into the proposed 4th season.

  • What a delight! The self-deprecating, good nature of the TV stars of the 60s is such a refreshing contrast to the self-important, political proselytizing of more modern "stars."

  • Oh, the pain!

  • I love this series ♥

  • robot in the end had the last laugh.

  • @NeoakiraIV - you're so correct. He DID have the last laugh. It sux the laugh stopped w/ his passing on Sun. the 22nd. What a show that was! 2:10 am 1-25-12

  • I wish I could go with them...

  • I always love jonathan harris as dr smith,i have sit and wached every episode including the spesial pilot. The problem is that they have finish the show without giving us any awnsers if the family have manage to go back to earth or even alpha centaury.Maybe the producers wanted to save this for futuristic plans,or wanted to have the people tthough that their adventures will never stop.

  • @youtoubakias Sadly, the show would have a 4th season. But batman (its rival show at the time) put it off the charts and the show was cancelled. I wish it went on beause this is my favorite show.

  • @nobodymystery Batman did you say? BATMAN?! wow as a kid i wached batman as well but lost in space had its own way as a show, thats why it stoped? got damn them.

  • @youtoubakias I felt the same way. Batman seems to me like a stupid comic compared to lost in space.

  • Jonathan Harris NAILS the Dr Smith performance as if he'd never been away.

  • @flyingleatherneck - It's funny how a science fiction TV series with " aliens " in rubber & / or aluminum - foil suits & COWBOYS, Vikings & aliens who know how to simulate the aroma of Peking Duck became a beloved childhood memory for so many people. Harking back to simpler times, I guess.

I gotta wonder what John Larroquette was doing in this documentary.

  • @flyingleatherneck I always suspected that Harris played the Dr. Smith

character so well because he added much of his own personality to him!

  • @flyingleatherneck Boy he really does. It's amazing! One of the Greatest actors ever. I met him at a sci-fi con. I met all of them in Orlando Fl. around 2001, except for Guy Williams of coarse. I told Jonathan Harris that he was the best actor in the world and he said "Yes I know and then looked up and smiled. He was funny and nice. You know he was an acting coach and he gave some acting lessons to Chuck Norris.

  • The Fox films would be able to make a new series similar?

  • My favorite Smithisim: Addressing the Robot of course, "Get away from me, you Ferrous Frankenstein!"

  • That is so awesome.. I love those guys...

  • lmao Dr Smith Shrank

  • @FutureLaugh ...and Wiliam grew.

  • The end is great, to be continued...

  • I was waiting for the classic:

    NEVER FEAR...SMITH IS HERE....

  • I watched that from bed, always, because I was a little boy, and that was emitted later in the evening, here in Yugoslavia...

  • @1906965181507 Well, that TV show was on the air originally (in the US) in 1965. My how times have changed since then. :)

  • @SoundJudgment Listen, Sir, I am from (and IN) Yugoslavia, we were a little bit late, but not too much, in that time... I realy loved it... Warning, warning... Danger, danger... Will Robinson...

LOST IN SPACE - FOREVER... REALY...

  • B9:It means you have aged over 30 years while I haven aged in a single day! HAW HAW HAW HAW HAW!!!!

    smartass B9 FTW

  • Pipe down you Bellicose Bumpkin !

  • "Mechanical moron!" "Blundering bucket of bolts!" Priceless.

  • Chuck will love this one! Oh the pain ....the pain!

  • wow that kids been lost in space n never got any sex oh wow an the old guy dont rember what sex is

  • Wow Jonathan hadn't lost his acting skills - what fun!

  • I was a little child when that was emitted here in Yugoslavia, but never missed any episode... I love it. Warning, warning, danger, danger, Will Robinson...

  • i never missed a show when ,even though they were in reruns

  • this was my favorite show back on my high school days; the early 70s. never missed a show started at 4pm weekly; that is how i learned English.

  • Well Bill Mumy aged like 12 years!

  • If they ever make another series, Bill Mumy should be Doctor Smith. He can do a pretty good Harris impression

  • We all love you ! Dr. Smith & will... down here in Australia.

  • All three of them are still on the money!

  • I met Harris when my uncle's architectural firm was contracted by him to build an addition on his CA home. The job took two months, and I worked on the project over a summer. Harris was only there for about two weeks during the construction, but I had the opportunity to talk briefly with him on several occasions. Very cordial, down-to-earth guy, and when the job was completed, he took the entire crew out for dinner. Greatt experience. I didn't know until then what a long career he's had.

  • It's obvious that 7 people grew up in the wrong time/space continueum.Cause nobody and I mean nobody should dislike Lost in Space!

  • @thecoolestdad Ha. Right!

  • I wish Dr. Smith had said his most famous line about the Robot, "You bubble headed boobey"

  • Hilarious. :)

  • He he i love doctor smith!

  • Wow. That took me back to happy times. Thank You for posting!!!

  • Bravo very good i like it it was a trip to my happys 10 yeras old

  • Love it!

  • Classic!!!! to say the least. Jonathan Harris was 85 when this was made. Still the absolute character of Dr Smith. RIP

  • Same Smith Different Day.

  • warning, warning, danger, i feel like i'm 9 again.

  • "To Be Continued..."

I'll never forget the PAIN of seeing those words!

Cliff hanging is NOT for kids.

  • I MET JONATHAN HARRIS ON CRUISE TO BRASIL , I WAS THE BARTENDER AND HAD THE PRIVILEDGE TO LAUGH WITH HIM IN PERSON ....I WILL NEVER FORGET DR. SMITH( GUSTAVO)

  • @Titilale Fantastico! Great actors! Back when real acting meant something...

  • @Titilale Lucky you.....

  • @Titilale You were realy lucky i must say man,i would love to see that man in person as well,i love jonathan harris!

  • @Titilale Was he a good tiper?

  • @Titilale What year?

  • this was great !! lol

  • Very nice but I want Penny. I love you Penny, marry me and we can live happily spaced out forever.

  • A+++++++

  • you bubble headed booby

  • Jonathan Harris and Billy still had it. They stepped back into their roles as if they had just left the lot the day before. Really a gem...

  • oh i watch the series, everyday,in my country, Guatemala,,,,love them

  • yes they should do another but with better monsters lol

but we have a problem we need another smith an exact personality of the old.

  • Why not lost in space the next generation with Don and Judy as Parents?

  • How great! I never seen this before. They should of have periodical Lost In Space TV movies because they are all DEAD ON even after all those decades. I read they were planning a special right before Jonathan Harris died. But really they should have made a few long before! Brings back great memories as a kid watching this show!

  • One is reminded of a marvellous salad . . . a deliceous ham salad! :))

  • I always envisioned Jonathan Harris to play Scrooge - I bet he would do it very well.

  • Jonathan Harris, SO funny......and Bill Mumy, SO hot!!! Love it!

  • lmao!!! very very cool!!! i loved this show as a kid,had the older b9 as a kid,got the '97 b9,since.i spent many hours drawing storyboard cartoons of the show all through elementary school, along with claymation at home.and so very entertained with this clip :)

  • IT IS CRIMINAL that a movie with the original cast was never made!

  • Oh, the pain, the pain! The ROBOT got the last laugh after 30 yrs! Oh, the pain, the pain! ha ha ha ha .... got to love it!

  • I grew up watching this show as a kid and this brought back memories

Johnathan Harris still has it ! LOL

His Superlatives still are great. He added to the show with his character

Billy Mummy grew up and was good as a child actor.

The show was a good after school show waiting for the next weekly episodes

    A fun Show.

  • Did they ever get back to Earth?

  • God I could watch this show all day!

  • Really brought back some wonderful memories, my thanks for sharing.

  • heres a fact, without johnathan harris, dont think lost in space would have seen the light of day.even harris said in later interviews that had he stayed with allena interp of dr.smith,we would have tired of it very quickly

  • It's all the same :) Nothing's changed a bit!

  • Oh the pain

    Very good video, congratulations man

  • Love it!!

  • Jonathan Harris has a strange sort of trait similar to Kenneth Williams...hmm I wonder who modelled themself on who lol!

What a great actor he was, I used to watch this every Sundayat lunchtime after the Waltons.

  • Fantastic!!!!

  • This made me want to laugh and cry. It's so funny, and I wish there had been more seasons/a better conclusion to this show. It's from my parents' generation, but we watched it all the time in my house.

  • @Katiedora122 Same with me, I about 16, but i watch this show all the time on dvd, Dr. Smith is my favorite TV character of all time. There should have beena conclusion, that would have made everything better. I wish Jonathan Harris was still alive so i could meet him and he could demonstrate one of his insults to the robot in person.

  • I can just hear the beginning of the sequel now.... "Last week, as you recall...."

  • 5 people are not lost in space...

  • Wow look how old Dr. Smith is! I'm watching an episode from the first season. "His Majesty, Smith" while I'm watching this skit. This is good stuf.

  • What is the track for 1:30 ~ 1:47 ??

  • Billy Mumy hasnt changed a scrap!

  • To both Johnathan and Bob (the robot) , Thank You - RIP

  • I grew up watching this series! Thanks for posting this! All 3 still had it!

  • NOTHING EVER DIES

  • In memory of Johnathan Harris. Televisions all time beloved sci-fi villain.

  • @paulmaccarocks It was definitely Saturdays in the area where we lived (North East England, UK - ITV, Tyne Tees television) paulmaccarocks - it was on after teatime. When Channel 4 repeated in in the early 1990's it was on Sunday lunchtimes. Did you name one of your children after a Robinson in adult life? I did!!

  • @bambagirlbeveridge When I was a child we lived in London. Perhaps I am wrong then. I just seem to remember getting in from school and watching. I was convinced it was Friday night. Perhaps London area was Friday and elsewhere Saturday. No I have not named any of my kids after any of them but have all the DVD's of all the episodes and still watch them now like it's the first time!!!

  • Classic!

  • lol this is really good

  • Comment removed

  • omg, I grew loving this show.... had a crush on Will... this is brilliant........ Danger, Danger, Danger

  • Absolutely brilliant! My all-time favourite Sci-Fi TV show. I know Jonathan Harris is dead now, but this wasn't all that long ago! Saturday nights in the 1960's were the high spot of the week for me!!

  • @bambagirlbeveridge Think you might find it was Friday nights. I used to dash home from school to watch every single week. Never remember it @ weekends though. I grew up with this and dont deny it really was special.

  • Space travel would suck like an Electrolux. No Pepsi, no pizza, no smokes, no booze, no buffet restaurants, no fresh air, no peace and quiet out in the country, ETC.

  • The Robot's voice was a little deeper then normal, but Dick Tufeld still did a great job. Harris was still perfect and so was Billy.

  • That was pure magic. Watching this brought back all of my childhood memories. I cannot believe how good Dr Smith is in this. He sounds just the same and has the same voice, gestures and ambience about him. Id love them to bring this type of TV show back as it allows you to escape the real world for a while. Well done!! Loved it.

  • Very very very very well done..Thank you for posting..I Love Dr smith...yes..he still could dish it out....billy too....God Bless them both.....Miss you so much Johnathan.

    Anthony

  • That was awesome--never saw this skit before. When I was younger in the late 70's to early 80's, TBS would show this on Sunday mornings. I would get so mad when I would oversleep sometimes and miss some of it. Of course now I have the entire series on DVD, but it was something special about having to catch it on TV when it came on back then. Also used to love having to stay up until 1:00 or 2:00 in the morning to watch stuff like The Blob or Frankenstein--fun times gone too soon.

  • i remember watching this...i couldnt wait after school to see this...i havent grown up...i still love it...

  • love it hehe

  • Prompt me if I am wrong because I was only 6 to 10 years old at time but what confused me was that there was no toilet on the space ship not that stop me loving this program How ever I thought Lost in Space with out a toilet perhaps there was a future one some where !

  • Rare Jonathan Harris

  • And the unique humor/adventure among the three is still there!

  • This is wonderful--so glad to see the 3 comrades we know and love back together again even briefly. Of course, Will's a handsome young man now, and Doctor Smith is a bit stooped, if still self centered. The Robot hasn't aged!. I love them one and all.

    "This all your fault!"

  • Love, love this show--brings back many childhood memories for me--it had science yet was campy---not even Star Trek could do that. And of course love Dr. Smith! Well, why keep it in the past---I bought all three seasons on DVD and can go back to Space Ventures with the Robinsons any time. by the way, my fav episode is "the keeper"---properly mysterious!! ok "bubble headed booby" away!

  • Great stuff....aw...to be a kid again for 3:24! Thanks for posting this! Russ

  • I was 10years old when L.I.S. came out in 1964 The Beatles just invaded america

what a great year to relive

  • I always thought that the somewhat 'unwholesome' relationship between William and Dr Smith was funny....

  • I always liked "Bubble-Headed Booby!"

  • You pusillanimous pipsqueak! You neanderthal ninny! You blundering bucket of bolts! Nobody does Dr. Smith like Jonathan Harris. Oh, the pain of it all! Great to see him (and Billy Mumy, who still sounds like young Will) here. And it's a treat to hear the B9 Robot's voice again... warning of impending doom.

  • @MagicalMysteryTube thank you ! Almost forgot Dr. S. robot finger pointers. Tthere's like 70 of them when he is chastises the Robot. Other sayings s: . "Oh, my delicate back!! I simply cannot work another second." Major W: "SMith you've never worked a day in your life." Smith: "Just you wait , Major, just you wait." Oh, just remembered: "You lead lined lothario!" "You addle plated armor bearer!" By the way did everyone know that J.S. stayed up at night thinking of more???

  • this is where the band devo comes in!:)

  • I would have loved to see them back on TV in the 1990's

  • This is incredible....its pitch perfect!! Thank you for putting everything together JUST RIGHT.....An old fan of a great show

  • YOOOOUUUU NINNY! YOU NINCUMPOOP!

  • That was wonderful and brought back so many good memories. Thanks very much for posting.

  • These guys haven't lost a beat. AMAZING...

  • That was a treat to watch. : )

  • Who the hell can dislike this?

  • I totally didn't expect to enjoy that as much as I did. Jonathan Harris was great!

  • Perfect!!! Brings back great memories.

  • Its Dr Smith and Chuck Norris Jnr

  • All those years later and Jonathan Harris still had it. Even Billy too.

  • Great fantastic ooh the pain!!

  • Still funny; forever.

  • Dr. Smith reminds me of an old Robin Williams doing a character on stage or in a movie. Even the way he stands and holds his hands.

  • @rdl3053 this is a hilarious video. dr smith sounds exactly the same as well does the robot. fantastic

  • That is just great! Johnathan Harris is STILL great as Dr Smith... WHat a laugh, thank you!
