  • David Attenborough is a talented individual. Behind the cameras and the facade, he is pedophile and has very close intrinsic links with the Catholic Church. Despite his irregular and extra-curricular. activities the BBC still puts his programs on television. I am outraged and have issued a complaint. We are educated and bombarded with this propaganda of educating children, however, ironically, it is this very same 'educator' who takes advantage of our own children.

  • @jfhjfsjdkjgjkfdnjkd

Nice try, moron. Attenborough is agnostic and was married for 49 years before his wife passed away. Both his son and daughter have respected careers in education. You, on the other hand, spread lies and vitriol. It speaks for itself.

  • i saw this on omgfacts

  • @Clownfish55 lol!!!!!

  • its david Attenborough but i lovethis bird the bestever

  • David Attenborough is my childhood.

  • Sounds like R2D2

  • I'm doin a project on this

  • I'm pretty sure that bird has a small roll in the movie police academy.

  • Just love the bit at 2:04

  • stop turning the comment section into a place for political arguments! the comment section is a place for funny jokes, using # keys to do rape vids, and to troll (and to hate on trolls).

P.S. lyre bird! wanna get rid of the competition, sing Justin Beiber songs. that'll clear a room pretty quick

  • But can this bird do David Gilmour? No, because it sucks.

  • That bird's got skills! :)

  • How could anyone dislike this? It's a bird in a remote forest for goodness' sake. It shows the genius and creativity of Mother Nature. If you don't like it, get off the planet!!

  • makes me so sad T_T

  • There's actually more to this footage than you'd think. Cinematographer Nick Hayward tells which sequence shot where on our 10min Campfire Film Foundation blog for today (audio post).

  • Absolutely amazing. That is one smart bird.

  • Imagine seeing one of them, that was imitating a chainsaw next to your house? You'd think there was a chainsaw massacre going on outside.

  • Now introduce some dubstep?...

  • Comment removed

  • Bullshit.

Sir David Attenborough shows everyone nice cute animals. To get everyone attracted.

Just so he can go on about Global Warming and bullshit.

  • @glenclosed Global warming AND bullshit, were you trying convey that global warming is bullshit and forgot the appropriate grammar? or do you not mind the global warming, its just the bullshit you dont care about? The correct way to say it would have been 'Global warming and OTHER bullshit' thereby including Global warming with your use of bullshit.

  • @biffington oh shut up! It's not that big of a deal, it is a YOUTUBE COMMENT. Get a life.

  • @biffington Global Warming IS bullshit. Quit being one of the illiterates who sees some ice melting, and freaks about Global warming that WONT EVEN EFFECT US.

  • @Dreams242 note to self: flippancy does not translate well to internet. Future uses must be marked accordingly for people who cannot articulate themselves in a way that encompasses more than a singular route of thought. Possibly cut flippancy altogether, at the extreme, removing the keyboard to spare netizens the evident trouble of abstract thought. Further research must be endeavoured, reactions to this addendum could be valid, if reactionary. Results to follow.

  • @Dreams242 We ALL need to see the film, currently on Youtube, 'Global Warming Or Global Governance?', and loosen up on our preconceptions fed to us by CORPORATE OWNED MEDIA. But almost none of us will. God, is humanity hopeless or what? On that we can pretty much all agree.

  • @glenclosed

    you're pretty idiotic.

  • So... Frank Welker is a lyre bird?

  • Thats a trollbird.

  • wow wtffff

  • awesome! But how does it mimic the sound of human technology? Was there ppl around?

  • @bboymong08 It mimics everything it hears.... Common knowledge would know what that means

  • @ObsessiveMuch00 Must be a democrat LOL!

  • I'd need one of this to sound as my break alarm during classes.

  • Love the sounds of birds so calming

  • Somebody give that bird some dubstep!

  • and now the sound of David Attenborough whispering in the background....

  • Nature you scary.

  • Once again. Civilization in forest. End of sort?

  • Love Liar Bird, but Underwater Pink Floyd Seals is better!

    Sorry Liar Bird !!

  • This bird is amazing! The fact that it can imitate 20 different species of birds as well as imitate cameras, car alarms and chainsaws! It's just.....it leaves me speechless every time....

  • Its so amazing to hear him sing all this but so sad to hear the sounds he sings, The sounds of humans destroying his world...

  • @Cristin96 The sound of a camera shutter, now that's what I call true destruction to this planet!!!

  • it's the michael-winslow-bird!

  • LOL!!!!!!

  • This bird Is on patrol LOL

  • chainsaw? i summon the bullshit card

  • @benliv93

i thought that too sounds really weird lol

  • If I was a female lyre bird and I hear those camera and alarm sounds I would totally fuck the shit out that bird

  • Great, but now make it sing the sound of a space shuttle when it flys. That would be awesome

  • @OriginalLemming Do your research. These birds aren't endangered whatsoever.

  • @bloves123 Thank goodness.

  • Awesome.

  • Lol idiots

  • first i was like: wow he can copy other animals, then i was like o.0 was that the sound of a camera?

  • thats the most word legit thing I have ever seen. Should make it watch old school transformers so it can make that transform sound.

  • Almost too unbelievable...

  • why does this asshole bird make all this noise

  • @HotbagelsProject Mr. Attenborough said why the bird creates such mimicry.

  • If it wasn't Mr. Attenborough telling us I'd never have believed it......

  • lol, what an amazing bird!

  • He is like a little recorder.

  • The chainsaw sound is epic. Deforestation is a bitch

  • i guess this bird also heard R2-D2

  • BBC, WHY 240p???

  • thats amazing!

  • I've heard Lyre birds do convincing conversations too. Sounds like people talking, but far away and muffled.

  • If Sir David Attenborough & Morgan Freeman made a documentary about lint..it would be the most watched documentary of all time

Seriously, it would feel like cheating to watch any animal documentary withour David talking

BBB Americka Feck Yesh, not really bothered about Hugh Laurie or Ricky Gervais y'all

  • Ah, the Liar Bird, as voiced by BBC Bristol

  • It would have been nicer of BBC to use subtitles and let us hear the bird for Christ sake. About the chainsaw sounds; that´s crap......I feel sorry for our poor world.

  • i was saddened by the latter part of this video. this bird has no idea what he's singing is the tune of destruction. it kills me, really. :<

  • @TheVentrise Very poignant

  • @TheVentrise I understand your concern as I do a lot walking/camping in the Aussie bush. One thing to note is there are a lot of protected parks in Australia. Chances are it was in a national park where some times workmen doing approved park work may be clearing dangerous trees or chain sawing trees that have fallen across popular tracks. A side point, if you spend enough time in the bush chances are you will come across one of these superb birds :).

  • @TheVentrise There is no destruction of it's habitat here in Australia, all of the areas in which it lives are heritage listed national forests, the birds travel around and pick up sounds, such as car alarms and traffic noises then fly back again. I heard one of these bloody birds shout out to me in the middle of the forest "I lost my phone, I lost my phone".

  • @TheVentrise Sadly the Victorian "Liberal" government continues to not only allow but encourage this destruction.

  • @TheVentrise sounds of construction

  • @TheVentrise Really good point. The lyre bird singing it's own demise. Very sad.

  • No fucking way this has to be fake

  • @nelthas you soul me whith your fake at to bout de champ

  • Also, rwp140 is right. I would say there are a fairly even number of atheist and God-believing scientists. But by nature, most scientists would be agnostic.

  • @Aeolistify thank you someone who acutely read my comment! (teasing aside that is basically what i meant, you spot on)

  • @Aeolistify Actually, a survey from the National Academy of Sciences found that 97% of members identified as atheist. (I'm not a member, but I'm a proud atheist too.) You act like the possibility that a supreme creator exists or doesn't exist are equally likely. In fact, the possibility of existence is so infinitesimally small as to not be worth testing. (Not to mention that scientific tests of the helpfulness of prayer finds that it is completely UNhelpful.)

  • @k9shrink "You act like the possibility that a supreme creator exists or doesn't exist are equally likely. In fact, the possibility of existence is so infinitesimally small as to not be worth testing." <--- The possibility of any greater level of arrogance than that statement is infinitesimally small.

Anyway, the bird is beautiful and I hope the destruction of its habitat is stopped.

  • I need to teach a lyre bird to say "Help me! I've turned into a lyre bird!"

  • 240p. We meet again.

  • ....that was a camera shutter. XD

  • Oh My F*cking GOD! That is THE coolest thing ever. I want one as my pet! :D

  • Mockingjay!

  • failer

  • This is just a creation imaging how great is the creator !!!

  • @nhaila2000 No, it is in fact not. It is probably no accident that this particular bird lives in Australia, where competition from predators was relatively low (until the arrival of humans, and subsequently, dogs, cats, rats and the like). By some mere quirk of nature, the bird that could best immitate others simply attracted more females. It may have begun as some survival method (immitation is frequent in nature), but then gone out of proportions. A "creator" is unnecessary.

  • @AankerStoneshield what you said is correct except of the last part.what i meant is that this creation wont exist in the first place without a creator, and then this creation as great it is still can develop it's abilities to be more successful in life.

  • @nhaila2000 Nature doesn't need a creator, it does just fine on its own without humans blaming its beauty on some 'god'.

  • @TheMuffinBurgler nature would not exist on it's own.

  • @nhaila2000 I think it exists fine on its own, I don't believe any creator made it.

  • @nhaila2000 im sorry to tell you this but there is no great creator, if it were true then where are the great things it has done? yes i did state that god is an it, is there proof that it exists? Where is your proof that it exists. god is a lie

  • @allygamers the proof my friend is in you. you were a sperm your mom and dad did not create you ,the farmer needs only to plant the seed but he doesn't create the fruit and endless of examples out there to think about.you tell me nature does that i will tell you nature can not function on it's own without an operator .

  • @nhaila2000 does it not bother you that there is barely a biologist to go around that would agree with this intepretation of the facts?

the more educated someone is in terms of the sciences, specifically biology, the less likely they are to believe in god.

you are under a severe misapprehension.

  • @volound in fact that is not true a lot of scientists believe that it has to be a greater power that created the universe be neutral and think out of the box use your own judgments instead of believing on what educated people think

  • @nhaila2000 "A lot" but not most of them. More of them are atheist

  • @CrustyFrenchFry actually most of them are agnostic hence the nature of being a scientest

  • @rwp140 you dont seem to know what "agnostic" actually means. atheism and agnosticism are not mutually exclusive. nor is agnosticism and theism. saying "actually they are agnostic" in response to "they are atheists" just makes you look like an ignorant fool.

most agnostics are atheists. most scientists are agnostics. most scientists are atheists.

  • @volound please re-read, i did not say that

  • @volound I was referring to the scientist not the atheist with actually in the context, read above, some one else has aptly re-worded... sorry if i bothered you some how, you seemed quite the intelligent chap(but as i did not read your conversation, maybe i judged to early, I'm sure you can prove me right again)...

  • @volound there's a huge difference between 'agnostic' and 'atheist'. The former remains open-minded (God may or may not exist) while the latter does not (God does not exist).

  • @funglip false, im afraid. completely and utterly false.

a/gnosticism addresses knowledge. a/theism addresses belief.

do some research. seriously, it takes a matter of seconds.

  • @CrustyFrenchFry btw i have no idea what your conversation was about, but i just wanted to interject that

  • @nhaila2000 In fact, only 3% of scientists believe in "a higher power." Please see my comment above. Any rational person has to be atheist.

  • @volound "the more educated someone is in terms of the sciences, specifically biology, the less likely they are to believe in god."

That is a very false assumption. Not to butt in or anything, but if you want to debate, try avoiding fallacies. They are detrimental to your argument.

  • This is just a creation imaging how great is the creator !!!

  • 2.01 mc donnalds" i'm lovin it"

  • I love to look out my window and see the pretty birds flying

  • 1:15 epic laugh

  • I want him to make a Dial Up conection sound )
