all through out your life people are hypnotizing you "**against your will" think about advertisers (advertisers use hypnotic principles to help them sell more things), politics and especially religion. *seriously preachers use bad hypnosis and some of them are actually trained hypnotists. **the will for most people is so weak that a well trained hypnotist can easily work their way around it or bypass it easily. Mr. Jon Chase could easily do what ever he neede or wanted.
I like the quick induction from the eye-challenge into hypnosis, but I disagree that you can make anyone do anything that is "against their will", at least their conscious will. I agree that hypnosis is a great tool for overcoming subconscious resistance, but you have to have the subject's conscious desire to work on those issues first. A hypnotist can 'manipulate' subconscious beliefs and patterns, but only with the subject's conscious consent.
One trick is to have people "look up" behind the closed eyelids, as if they were looking through the top of the head. Try it out...close your eyes and roll them upwards, and "see" if it makes it harder to open your eyes with eyeballs rolled up.
Do you always get inability to open the eyes that quick? When I use this induction cold I don't get eye lock that fast at all. How can I get eyelock quicker?
About 80% of the time. Then 99% on the second attempt.
Some people can't be hypnotised.
As fo doing it quicker believe better. It's all about intent. Or you could say just before you do it. "Now this works very quickly with 80% of people." No one want's to be in the 20% :-)
too many people seem convinced that the elman induction should take at least three minutes, whereas elman's original one, the one Dave Elman himself used, was At Least, as quick as this.
Whats great about the Elman induction is that you can really modify it and tweak it. In its fullness it has so much theory within it that you can can modify it to anything and if there was one induction you could ever learn if it was only one for me it would be the Elman. It shouldnt be done slow thats where people make the mistake.
Once again a great video from a world leader in direct/suggestion hypnosis. Very clear and concise. "Instant" hypnosis without the need for the shock element we're so used to seeing. Bravo Jon!
