  • But how can the rings have straps going THROUGH them? The ring will not rotate, and then what happens when you try to do a muscle-up? This is pretty odd design...

  • Браво за ревюто :) Смятам след 3 месеца да се сдобия с един чифт от тези халки :) Изглеждат страхотни , до сега все хубави мнения виждам за тях :) Ще се радвам скоро да споделя и моето лично мнение за тези халки :)

  • Thanks Nik. I have the same rings and like them. The only bummer is that the rubber handles wear quickly. But the grip is great.

  • @haxmya You are welcome! Listen, I've been using mine for half an year now and the handles are like new. What's the matter with yours?

  • @closetoimpossible The rubber on the handles starts to "rub off" a bit. It's very possible it happens because of high rep movements where kipping is involved (muscle ups, pull ups, ring dips). Which probably isn't really an issue with slow controlled gymnastics movements but is for some workout programs, like Crossfit has.

  • @haxmya Yes I am afraid I am not used to using any swing in my training. Nevertheless though wears off on mine is the marked part of the webbings. That might be a pain once it's erased.

  • I got a pair of the elite rings 8 months ago and have been using them along with a pull up bar for all my upper body training. I put some athletic tape on them to help with grip, and aside from wear and tear on the tape, the rings are still in perfect condition despite 8 months of daily use. I plan to buy a set of EXF rings in the very near future... the marked webbing looks like a huge time saver :D

  • @rmandawg1 The webbings are AWE-SOME! It's one thing I used to find extremely irritating with the previous model.

  • I train with the EXF rings and they're great ^^

  • This is a great product! There is a video on the website that shows you how to set up the clamps and s clips properly.

  • Good review! What do you think about using rings instead of a bar in general? Are there any obvious drawbacks you can think of?

  • @millle4 One word - variety! It definitely provides you with a different training experience that's why I encourage you trying both devices!

However if you can execute a move on one of these apparatus you'll have no problem busting it out on the other one as well. The rings require a bit more stability for they swing but I find the Muscle-Up much easier on them than on the bar. Love them both though!

  • Hey Nik, I'm glad you made this video about the rings because I recently bought the EFX rings for a gym & I ended up with the S piece at one end, & the buckle on the other.,Could you please show me & the viewers how you did it as the video? Thanks a bunch.

  • @hkj73 My pleasure man! Now I'd like to let you know that I attached the rings directly to the buckles on my ceiling. Nevertheless there is an article on ring training where you can see how the S piece works. Link: bit [dot] ly/m69ZW3

If by any means something remains unclear please reply back and I'll gladly record a video explaining next week!

  • @closetoimpossible Just looked at the link you told me about. It is exactly what I was looking for. It turned out I used the S piece the other way around -on the rings not the mount-. Thanks Nik, you're the best & shit on the rest in the East & the West :)

  • @hkj73 Hahaha, don't praise me that much. :)

  • @hkj73 Hey Nik, I tried going to the link you told me about again & I don't know anymore! Could you please tell me how? Thanks a bunch.

  • @hkj73 You mean the link is not working for you? Just type it like this replacing the [dot] with an actual dot. bit[dot]ly/m69ZW3

I tried it and it worked for me just fine. :)

  • I have the same rings in my home gym.

  • @iamgodan I remember you telling me that Wayne. How do you like them man? Share an opinion!

  • "That's all bullshit" :D. Best reviews are honest reviews.

  • @Preset1 I was annoyed when I heard it whilst editing the video. Glad you found it amusing though. :-)

It's also funny hearing me say "you know" once every 15 seconds, lol. Sorry about that.
